Jv Haven Pension — Hotel in El Nido

Fine place to stay outside of El Nido town. It is located right next to the bus station, so very easy to get to when arriving. Slightly difficult to find the entrance from the small sign - see my pictures on this review. It is set back from the main road, which cuts down on some of the traffic noise.

You can get to El Nido town by trike for P50, and you can walk to Corong Corong beach for beautiful sunsets in 10-15 mins. Department store across the road for toiletries etc, and plenty of small stalls selling water and snacks.

There are only seven rooms, and no communal area, so nowhere to socialise. AC works very well, only one power cut in the 5 days we stayed, and they used a backup generator when we asked. Staff are quiet but always nice, and speak English. Laundry service available, and they can book the island hopping trips, though we preferred doing this in...

Das Wasser im Bad stinkt wirklich ekelhaft(nach Schwefel oder sowas). Außerdem kommt es gelblich heraus und man hat das Gefühl nach dem Duschen nur noch dreckiger zu sein. Das Bad stinkt auch immer nach dem Wasser und dazu gibt es auch kein Warmwasser. Dass das Wasser abfärbt hat man auch gesehen nachdem wir dort unsere Wäsche haben waschen lassen. Alles was weiß war, kam orange wieder heraus. Es wurde uns angeboten die Kleidung zu bleichen. Danach war sie endgültig zerstört. Ich musste ,,nur“ ein paar Shirts wegwerfen. Unsere Zimmernachbarn hatten 5 Kilo weiße Wäsche abgeben und auch orange zurückbekommen. Deswegen entschieden auch sie sich dazu, die Kleidung bleichen zu lassen. Kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass es bei ihnen besser gelaufen ist.

Es gibt leider kein kostenloses Trinkwasser.

Der große Supermarkt gegenüber spielt ab gefühlt 5 Uhr früh extrem laut Musik.

WLAN hat nicht richtig funktioniert.

Positives: Das Zimmer war ansonsten sehr sauber Die Unterkunft liegt fast direkt neben dem Bus Terminal Klimaanlage funktioniert gut (allerdings verbrennt in der Nachbarschaft immer jemand etwas und dann hat man den ganzen Rauchgeruch im Zimmer) Bequemes Bett

I was very happy with my stay here for the price. I'm travelling on a budget and this inn was perfect for a single girl. There was no hot water, but for the price it is totally fine. Go out and get hot and the shower is refreshing! There is air conditioning and it's very very clean. The employees are lovely and will help you with any questions.
