On the day of writing this review, there are some ongoing construction/renovations in the area so heads up as there are some parts of the park that are not passable/accessible at the moment.

Regarding the quality and comfort of the park, the place is nice. Well-maintained. Yup, there are times you will hear some noise from the cars but not much as the trees reduce the noise slightly. There are also birds flying around or taking shelter within the park. Awesome place to take some wildlife photos [I guess].

The Park personnel are approachable and kind. If you need some help, just ask them. [They can speak in both English and Filipino languages. Not sure about other languages though]

Regarding those who are willing to use bikes, you can use them here as there are also dedicated lanes available.

Comfort rooms are well-maintained. To be honest, I haven't visited all of the C.R. of the park to check if they are well-maintained or not but from where I used one, it surely is well-maintained.

Just always remember to clean the area where you stay within the park. Be a civilised person.

Put some sunscreen if you like to walk in the centre of the Park as it is very open. Don't worry, the sides of the park have a lot of trees that provide shade to those who want to get some shade from the sun.

Overall, the park is an awesome place to unwind, rest, chill, do physical activities, and enjoy...

For tourists to Manila, the areas encompassing Rizal Park are must-see locations with outstanding attractions of remarkable historical importance. Some of the many tourist attractions are Rizal Park and Luneta Park, the Independence Flag Pole, Rizal Monument, Dr.Jose Rizal Execution Site, Lapu-Lapu Monument, Chinese Garden, Japanese Garden, and many museums and government buildings. Moreover to the west of the Roxas Boulevard and Independence Road is the Quirino Grandstand where the Annual Independence Day celebrations are commemorated. Intramuros is another area just north with the Cathedral of Manila and other religious places of interest. In general Rizal – Luneta park areas are of great national prestige for visitors that is well worth a day’s visit. I'm enchanted with historical places and monuments that attest to the heroic actions of our national heroes and I'm so pleased that I got the chance to experience them while they are still around. I'm hoping that the government will continue to safeguard historical sites like this. The only downside is the blight of a towering building in the background. The building should have never been allowed to be constructed in the first place. Overall a must-see place...

Rizal Park – A Historic Oasis in the Heart of Manila

Rizal Park, also known as Luneta, is one of the most iconic landmarks in the Philippines. Located in the heart of Manila, this expansive urban park is both a historical site and a peaceful escape from the busy city streets. The park is named after Dr. José Rizal, the national hero of the Philippines, who was executed here in 1896 for his role in the country's fight for independence. His monument stands tall at the center of the park, serving as a powerful reminder of his sacrifice.

The park spans over 58 hectares and is filled with well-maintained gardens, fountains, and open spaces where families can enjoy picnics, children can play, and tourists can relax. Notable attractions within the park include the Japanese and Chinese Gardens, the Orchidarium, and the Relief Map of the Philippines. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, with vendors offering local snacks like ice cream and mango shakes.

Whether you're a history buff or someone just looking to unwind, Rizal Park offers a unique combination of culture, heritage, and greenery. It's a must-visit for anyone traveling to Manila—rich in national pride and beautifully woven into the everyday life...
