Nonsense Parking Policy. We came in at 12:23PM to do our groceries. When we were done my wife had to buy medicine from Mercury so I went ahead with my kid to load the groceries and wait for her. I paid the parking fee at 1:48PM, left the parking spot as courtesy and waited on a nearby spot inside the parking on hazard. My wife was back and we were on our way out when we were stopped at the parking exit. They told us we had to pay again because we exceeded the 15 minute grace period we had to leave the premises upon parking payment. Apparently we had to leave before 2:03PM but it was 2:10PM. We already paid the initial fee for the first 3 hours, we weren't even there for more than 1.5 hours, and now we had to pay again because of their 'policy'? It was not anywhere in their ticket but there was a standee in the payment area where it was written. When I talked with the manager, I was explaining my side and mid sentence she cut me off. This broke my patience and so I've had it. I told her she was rude and we are just going to pay for it. It was not worth the time and effort. We spend around 40k in groceries in landmark monthly but this will be the last time. I will be conducting business elsewhere. It would have been more beneficial for us to not pay parking ahead of time and chill in a supposed to be available parking spot for other people.

It currently has multiple operational department stores and supermarkets across Metro Manila and one provincial branch located in Santa Rosa, Laguna. Starting with its first store, Landmark Makati, in 1988, it opened Landmark TriNoma (Quezon City) in 2007, Landmark Alabang in 2017, Landmark Nuvali (Santa Rosa City) in 2019, Landmark Bonifacio Global City in 2021, and Landmark Manila Bay in 2024. It has a total of six chains in the Philippines. The Landmark department store and supermarket chain in the Philippines is owned by CitySuper Incorporated, the holding company of Landmark Corporation, which is owned by Enrique Cheng. Landmark operates independently within large shopping malls such as Ayala Center (Ayala) in Makati and Festival Mall (Filinvest Land) in Alabang. In fact, they are one store located in a large shopping mall in Ayala or Filinvest Land. Festival Alabang (also known as Festival Mall) is a large shopping mall owned and operated by Filinvest Land, Inc. Opened on May 15, 1998, it is the sixth largest shopping mall in the Philippines. Following Festival Mall's expansion, Landmark Alabang, located in the east wing, opened in July 2017, featuring a supermarket and food center, and was transformed into a department store in October 2017.

(5/7/2022) The alabang branch of Landmark Department Store. It's quite a large place, spread out over several floors, and each one long enough that there are separate escalators on each end. But despite its size, they've been able to maintain it well, and keep a neat and airy ambience. In terms of price range, I'd say it averages somewhere between SM on the low end and Rustan's on the high end. But, of course, the comparison will vary with individual items, so the old adage that you should do comparison shopping applies (if you have the time). There are some things that I've only been able to find here, especially when it comes to houseware, so I do like shopping here from time to time.
