Overwhelmingly big play place filled with too many people. Too many that older kids and younger kids will likely get injuries (like my niece!!!), if the company continues mismanaging the play place. I'm the auntie of a 6 year old toddler who had an injury in her left arm (growth plate) after using the trampoline. She just underwent a surgery costing us 150 - 185K PhP!!!
Of course the play place would have ZERO accountability because of the waiver they get the guardians to sign. But I've been to lots of other play places and have never encountered an injury like this before.
My toddler had the injury because she was jumping up and down a trampoline square with FIVE OTHER KIDS. All of the other squares at that time also had more than 1 kid. Although there were signs everywhere advising kids that only 1 kid can jump per square, all of the staff around the area weren't really strictly enforcing this. This made me myself as the guardian think that maybe the rules are okay to not be taken seriously.
Unfortunately, my niece had an injury. A FantasyWorld staff accompanied us from the play place until the hospital, but all the bills from thereon were charged to me. I was charged 10,000PhP for the ER; an additional 10,000PhP in preparation for the surgery; and then now I'm facing a total cost of 150 - 185K PhP.
FantasyWorld told us my niece can go back to the play place for free next time, but no, NEVER AGAIN. With costs like these, who would risk their kids??
I've attached her x-rays. Have any radiologist read it and they'll confirm how serious the injury is (growth plate).
I sent FantasyWorld a message on Facebook with tips on how to prevent injuries, but it only fell on deaf ears. Another red flag for a play place.
Please parents and guardians, just bring your kids to the smaller, safer play places in SM Fairview! FantasyWorld may be the biggest, but I don't think they're ready to manage many people. My niece is only lucky because I have the means to shoulder her surgery costs, but I'm sure many other guardians won't be as...
Read moreHow are they not allowing teenagers who looks very old!? They are charging the guardian for the same price, the guardian should be charged for at least 200 for my opinion. I just want to use the trampoline area and they are charging the parent another 500. Even 500 is not worth it for 1 hour, I just want to practice my own thing on the trampoline area because I believe it's the safest area for acrobatic stuff and some guardians of other children are guarding their own so how tf do I need a guardian. And then the socks, they are charging for what I remember 80 pesos for the socks, 80 PESOS FOR THE SOCKS. I have my own socks, I would pay 500 and I am expecting a provided socks, even those other parks for toddlers on some other malls only charge for 30 below and they are even allowing the socks that the kids are wearing. My guardian can just watch me outside but instead, money comes first ofc. They have gotta fix the guardian protocol issue here, even the switching of guardian is not allowed. Add a 30 minute option like I can afford 500 but for a guardian at the same price, HELL NAH (I think the reason why it has a lot of customers is because parents can't make the kid unhappy. So then they decided to pay any amount just to make their kids happy. #🇵🇭)...
