Stup1d try hard campus branch of NU. They will never be enough. They don't care about their students. I do understand the implementation of online classes since they lack rooms and spaces but this doesn't mean they need to force student to do virtual classes during a typhoon. They are always late to announce those advisories.
One more thing, yes I know trisem is one of the unique offers of National University. Literally, it's a good thing. But really, students also need academic breaks from time to time which I observed there is none, there will be but it will be few.
The quality education & teaching in this branch is poor, and I could vouch for that. Here, you are really are the ones who needs to adjust, and see things in advance so that you can raise concerns to be addressed early. The Fairview branch need guidance from the main branch as they are not yet (I think actually) ready to be opened in the area which they are now and it's really bad. Not just rooms that they are lacking but also to manpower!
They also need to hard review the teachers/professors who are to teach their students especially to college students---because with poor teaching during online class (most of the class schedules were online) means no learning at all to the students who expect to learn a lot even though it's not the main branch, as NU is a known university.
Are they still worthy: The facilities are good, the hallways, aesthetics, areas are great (they just lack space i swear for classrooms and event areas). They are also active from most of the time to events, projects, collaboration that does contribute to community service. Even with most of the class days were online, I guess students are still learning something. Wifi voucher is free (sometimes they are late to give codes, always has time limit).
This is the real definition of college. Enrolling first year but it seems like you enrolled the fifth. Good luck to...
Read moreDear NU Management,
I am the parent of one of your former students, and I would like to raise a concern regarding your current school payment policy.
As parents, we deeply value our children’s education and are committed to supporting them in completing their studies. However, we find the payment policy to be quite strict, especially considering the already high tuition fees. While we understand and respect your rules and policies, we kindly ask that you consider offering some flexibility for long-time students.
Specifically, we request that students nearing graduation be allowed to register by paying a reduced amount upfront, with the understanding that the remaining balance will be settled before graduation. Preventing students from continuing their education due to unpaid balances can be discouraging, especially when families are making every effort to pay.
We hope you will take this into consideration and support not only our child but many other students in similar situations. I know several parents who share the same concern and are hoping for a supportive response from your side.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. We look forward to your...
Read moreAs a student currently enrolled to this university, I have been enjoying the experience here so far. Their canteen is fantastic and the food is always good. A total of 7 floors (including Lower Ground and Upper Ground) so there's a lot to explore here. There's 4 elevators and each of them can only go to specific floors to make sure that the elevators are not overused or overloaded which is a good change that they have made this year. The students and professors here are very nice and accommodating so you won't feel lost around here. Honestly, this is an underrated university and as far as I know, it's not as popular as some of the other universities, but that doesn't mean that National University is bad. It's been really nice here and I think new enrollees would love it here as long as they study hard and learn how to...
