One of my favorite restaurants to visit for some quiet time is Brewing Point. On a less busy day, the café is peaceful and a great place to relax.
Food – It’s a bit pricey, but the taste is generally good. We’ve dined here several times, and I can say that our favorites are the carbonara and salpicao. The food portions are also generous, especially the pasta. While there are a few dishes that could use improvement in terms of seasoning or taste, once you find the few standout items, you’ll keep coming back for them.
Service – The servers are very attentive and accommodating. There are just some rare occasions when they seem to frown or appear unapproachable.
Overall, I still love coming here whenever I’m craving carbonara or salpicao. I’d also return whenever I want a solo meal in a peaceful environment.
UPDATE (2025, April): One thing I noticed right away was that this time, the carbonara dish was noticeably different from the previous times I’ve ordered it. It was much oilier than before. While the pasta was cooked well and the portion size was still generous, the excess oil really threw me off. I could see the oil separating from the cream, which made the whole dish less enjoyable. It was a stark contrast to the carbonara I’ve had from them in the past. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be ordering it again. I just wished they retained their old carbonara as that was the one thing I always...
Read more"The Brewing Point at SM Fairview is an absolute five-star experience! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive. I ordered two Caesar salads, and when they arrived, I was shocked by the size. They were so big, I thought they’d brought me family-sized portions! For such a great price, I haven’t seen a salad this generous anywhere in the Philippines. My girlfriend’s sister had the squid and rated it a six out of five, saying it was incredibly delicious.
I had the carbonara, which was good, but the portion was a little small for my liking. Still, that didn’t take away from the overall amazing experience. The best part was the quesadillas—both chicken and beef. Honestly, they were some of the best I’ve ever had, and I've eaten plenty of quesadillas. My girlfriend and her sister were also impressed.
Overall, I highly recommend this place. Great food, fantastic atmosphere, and friendly staff make it a place I’ll definitely visit again!"

Brewing Point is easily one of the best restaurants in SM Fairview. I say that considering I've tried the vast majority of the restaurants here in SM Fairview! I have to be honest—I much prefer this spot over M_ry Gr_ce, though both are solid restaurants.
The Taste, Consistency, and Service are generally superb.
What I Highly Recommend (My Usual Order):
OG Chicken Mozzarella: 5/5 - The Chicken Parmigiana with Penne Pesto Pasta is a must-try.
Caesar Salad: 5/5 - Generous serving of dressing, excellent bacon strips, and lettuce.
Clubhouse: 4/5 - A typical, dependable cafe clubhouse with potato chips.
Iced Spanish Latte: 5/5 - Great
Blended Double Chocolate: 5/5 - Starbucks-like
Red Velvet Petite Cake: 3.5/5 - Just okay. I've also tried their other cakes like the blueberry and New York cheesecake, and they were also just okay.
I've explored their other menu items, which range from good to okay, but the ones listed above are definitely the core reasons why I keep...
