SM City Fairview is one of the SM Malls that has improved in terms of the many shops and stores available to the public. It even has several Car dealerships where you can look at the latest car models from several of the manufacturers like Honda, Nissan, Ford and even newer companies like Jetour. There are several great dining establishments as well to provide a good variety of choices at several pricepoints. Most of the good restaurants in the metro are represented. One favorite of our is Gringo, where we ate just recently. Very good food, very comfortable ambience. There's a Tim Hortons also, just next toone of the drop-off points. Mostly good on the eating places. The Theatres are also nice, you can use an app to book movie tickets in advance. Most of the latest films/movies are featured, and the movie theatres are comfortable. The usual popcorn/drinks/other stuff you can get while watching a movie are available, though I would not say these are reasonably priced.

So, mostly positive. However, one big negative is PARKING. Gods, where do I begin? If you are dropping off the family, then heading to parking, most of the time you will have to circle around OUTSIDE of the SM compound, around to Regalado, then hopefully you can find the end of the line to the outdoor parking spaces. Unfortunately, the guards are of LITTLE, IF ANY, HELP. They tell you to line up, without telling you WHERE THE HELL to Line Up, or Point Vaguely in the general direction of nowhere. Terrible, really. I have not tried the Valet Parking they provide, but that's an extra P100-200 expense to your malling budget if ever.

So, while I do like their variety of restaurants and shopping places, I would not recommend going to this mall on Sale Days, or weekends where you just need to get a one or a few items. You are better off going to other smaller places. But if you want to watch a movie, shop a little, and eat out later, AND you have a Driver (or a poor husband) to deal with the parking woes, then it's a Great...

SM City Fairview has undergone renovation even before the pandemic. A year after I've seen the changes I've noticed a bigger mall and a lot of beautiful shops have opened. Some are even high end ones and some I thought belong to that group, I was surprised to see the tags of their products are very affordable considering that some of them are carrying specialty merchandise. The products that each shop carries are really of high quality. Some even have promos and discounts. A lot of restaurants also opened offering an array of different cuisine. You will also be surprised with their prices because they are not just affordable but considering the quality and the taste of their food, their prices can be considered cheap. The physical aspect of the mall is already instragram worthy not to mention,the decorations that adorn the halls and the shops would really make you stop to take a snap of your self.

Several months now after the pandemic, SM City Fairview is again ready to accept any one who would like to visit and be relieved of the stress brought about by the virus,not to mention, to shop to their hearts delight. The mall is so ready to let anybody in although you will need to heed to the health protocols set by the IATF like wearing face mask,face shield and social distancing. The guards and the other personnel of the mall would politely remind the shoppers when they see someone not wearing their face shields correctly. Guards are roaming everywhere to see to it that social distancing is observed in all parts of the mall even inside the groceries and while just strolling the mall. But of course, not every one is allowed inside like kids and senior citizens starting from 66 years old. Even eating in the restaurants and fastfoods, health protocols are still observed.
