Caprice Italian Kitchen & Bakery — Restaurant in Quezon City

We stumbled upon Caprice Italian Kitchen and Bakery at SM City Fairview, Upper Ground Level Parkway Building, while looking for a different restaurant to try. I’m not an expert on Italian food, but I can say their dishes were great. While the prices are on the higher side, the portions are generous, making it somehow worth it.

We ordered their 3-Meat Pizza, which had a deliciously crunchy crust, and the Mozzarella Fingers, which were also quite good. The Cream Cheese Spinach Pasta, good for sharing, turned out to be a heavy and satisfying meal. They also offer bundle meals that are perfect for small groups, which is good. Plus, they serve coffee, cakes and other desserts, adding more variety to their menu.

What’s great about Caprice is that they’re not limited to Italian cuisine. Their menu also features Filipino dishes and all-day breakfast options, which we’re excited to try on our next visit.

The staff, as many others have mentioned, are incredibly attentive and friendly. They’re full of character, which is rare to find in some restaurants. Mozzarella Fingers 🧀 - does its job - very appetizing. (I'm just not used to their dip, I personally prefer my mozza sticks w/ anything mayo)

I usually request that my steak be medium well, so it was my first time to try ribeye medium rare. It's so juicy, soft, and has that creamy texture - like meat that melts in your mouth - kinda thing. So good!! To me, it's best consumed warm. ❤️

Also, very grateful for the crews for being so accommodating. 🙏 We requested extra gravy, and I also asked if they could make me sugar syrup for my iced cafe latte because I like mine a bit sweet - they did, without any negative reactions or facial expressions (like I experienced recently at another restaurant- we still left them some tip anyway). Thank you!! 🙏

Opened last december 2022. This italian restaurant really has the potential, to be one of those, that should be on a food or travel magazine.

The ambiance is nice, well lighted and spacious. And, background on the walls even add up to the good vibes.

We tried the seafood aglio pasta. Wow...Really al dente. And mussels, shrimp and squid were present, not just on paper. Could be perfect, if they included fish. But it's already ok, for me. Just a suggestion, that is. Tried the cookout pork chops. I was expecting a small slab. Only to be amazed, that it is a steak cut. And it is really soft, easy to cut and really tasty. Their homestyle pancakes, are not like any others that i have tried, which are soft and fluffy, but it also tastes real good. Their fresh lemonade drink, has real slices of lemons. And, the battle between sour & sweet just ends up good. And, their americano tastes just right. Not overpowering bitter black, nor pale in taste. And, they, also serve with fresh milk upon request.

Prices here are on the mid to high, but really...My impression here, you won't be shortchanged. Serving size is just enough but tastes extraordinary. This gives me a yearning to be back, and try the other offers...
