Unfortunately the Therme was quite disappointing. It already started at the entry.. the staff was very rude and it seemed like they were just annoyed by our presence. The changing rooms were old and basic. At least we didn’t have to pay for our locker. To enter the Therme you had to shower in a big room without single showers, where some of them and also the taps at the restrooms didn’t work. To walk upstairs wet after showering and the strange smell in the hallways (which was not due to sulfur) were also very unpleasant. The baths outside were warm and the view was also very nice. For the sauna we had to use our wristbands to get in. Everything looked very lame, used and boring for a Therme. You didn’t feel comfortable or relaxed.. there are way better and nicer thermes, where you get a beautiful atmosphere and feel like you’re somewhere else than a public water park. The saunas were small but worked. But the fact that you could just look out to the floor and see the people naked taking a shower while sitting in the hot sauna was kinda weird to me. It would have been nice to have a pretty view outside to the mountains or something else than the ugly shower. Also the staff was very rude again. We just wanted to look which room we want to try first and the lady snapped at us in polish and basically stressed us to choose a room since she needs to stand all of this. After 2,5h we went back and left the park. At the checkout we needed to pay 40PLN extra, because we used the sauna! The lady there was super rude and didn’t hesitate to ask for my money passive aggressive. I don’t know what kind of people the Park is employing but it’s unbelievable how everyone there is so rude. We payed about 100PLN for 2,5h per person, with lame and boring equipment. The halls were dirty and some people didn’t wash their places in the sauna… you didn’t feel a special atmosphere or super relaxed. It was a big, expensive, public water park with rude staff and unsatisfying wellness areas. We wouldn’t recommend. We have better thermal baths in the the Ruhrgebiet in Germany without mountains and Zakopane. Very disappointing!! We still love...
Read moreHORRIBLE TREATMENT. Had a problem opening our locker on the way out. Staff spent well over 10 minutes + finding a key card. Upon telling the cashier about the problem, she confirmed it with the staff but said she only spent 5 minutes. I said I would not pay 30,00 for extra time, because staff indeed spent much longer. The threatened to call police,! I said..OK...CALL THEM! ( This seemed to confuse them)
Two more managers then joined the dispute, I simply said FINE I'd pay now that my children are crying because they heard the staff say the police will come. HOWEVER NOW , the bill was 45 because of the time I spent disputing it!!! Cashier arrogantly said I should of just paid the first time! NOW, seeing the new price... I refused to pay again. once more I was told that they would call the police ( now I understand this is an empty threat)
I explained to the head manager that I would pay, but then simple dispute the amount on my Visa card...and said that Visa would THEN open an inquiry and it was up to them to provide proof. She agreed THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE CAMERAS IN THE LOCKER AREA, AND THERE IS NO WAY FOR THEM TO PROVE ANYTHING. They then allowed my family and I to leave!
Thank you to the head manager which was the ONLY person that could think logically. AQUAPARK NEEDS TO REVIEW POLICIES AND PROCEDURES AND PROVIDE FURTHER TRAINING TO MINDLESS STAFF.
Will not...
Read moreWhen we arrived it was quite crowded and had to wait for a bit to buy the tickets on the spot. The instructions from the ticket office were clear and managed only in English. There were some small lockers for valuables(free) and then when you enter, there are some bigger ones (also free) that you can access with your entrance bracelet. Moreover, all the inside payments are done through this bracelet and you pay in the end, thus you do not have to worry about carrying cards or cash with you inside.
We went there on a rainy day when thunderstorms were also expected. Thus, the outside pools were not continously open.
The inside pools are okaysh but mostly dedicated to children. The semi olympic pool has also very warm water. The outside pools were just great. Being able to enjoy mountain views in hot water while cold rain is dripping on you is an amazing feeling.
The big downside of this place was that there is not a lot of seating area/spots to put your towels and rest a bit. The food area is also very crammed. They had some standard food options such as pizza, schnitzels etc We paid about 26€ for 2 persons which we found a good price for the quality and size of the meal we got.
Overall, we really enjoyed our day there. However, we did find it rather overpriced compared to other thermal...
