This was a nice museum, I think would be good for children especially. We listened to stories on a radio type thing given to us and it was in our chosen language. Unfortunately quite a few bits were closed when we visited but I can imagine these will be cool once finished as the rest of the museum was very fun. It was extremely quiet we didn't see anyone else, it was a sensory experience and very calming. We learnt a lot about Sintra and the myths. A good experience especially if you have a Lisboa card to get you in for free. Unfortunately it wasn't too obvious how to get in and myself and my sister struggled looking how to get our tickets. If you're interested in going, you get your tickets from the tourist information desk.

It cost €7 for two of us which is not to bad, but there were a few problems with it. You start the tour by going up to the 3rd floor by lift, but on the way through the tour you make your way back down via the stairs, which for me was quite hard as I have mobility problems (I walk with a stick). Also your given an electronic recorder on which is played the different segments of the tour as you walk through (which is available in different nationalities), but it's on such a long lanyard that if you can't hold it to your ear whilst walking you can't hear the different stories (even with the volume up full). Also there aren't many photos as it's so dark that my camera just didn't pick them up very well.

NOT worth a single cent spent, even if it was free, it's a waste of your time. terrible smell of sewage everywhere, disgusting quality of monitors and uninteresting stories. you can find more interesting facts by asking the chat GPT. terrible place and a trap for tourists!!!! do not waste your time, but rather go and see the real history of Sintra with your own eyes. I am very upset that I wasted my precious time! but I hope with my review I will save someone else's time
