NewsMuseum — Attraction in Sintra

The staff is satisfactory could be better in taking care of their visitors in terms of greeting customers. Overwhelming in terms of information, you can see sections defined like football journalism, war journalism etc but the content is not well curated. I felt lost. Worst for me is some interactive elements not working and when giving feedback to the reception, they said that there are a lot of tech elements and the owners can't keep up with fixing them or have everything working 100% because is expensive. So in this case the ticket should not be paid 100% also. Well it was an experience. If I go back? Probably not. Sintra is so messed up...

I visited this museum a few years ago while on a trip to Spain and Portugal. While on the bus coming downhill from the castle in Sintra, I noticed the sign for the museum and decided to visit.

Interesting museum with a number of engaging displays. I was enticed by the continued relevance of the media in modern times. The entire museum was bilingual, but as a foreigner in Portugal, I found a number of displays focused on the Portuguese media somewhat confusing. Hard to say if this museum visit was more worthwhile than visiting another one of Sintra's palaces. If your spending more than a day in Sintra, this would be a nice way to add variety...
