A beautiful, waterfront park at the mouth of the Douro river. Beautiful beaches, one protected between two breakwaters that provides a safe wind free sandy beach, the other looking out at the Atlantic as you turn the corner from the river to the ocean. Although the view is breathtaking, the beach itself is only 2-3 star rate: it's a very rocky place with freezing like water.

Great experience oberall going for a nice walk there, did like 20km thru the coast, everything safe, calm and full of friendly local and tourists, there’s a lot of bars and places you could refresh, have a break and drink something!
