We had a good stay at the Attic homes at Silverscapes residence which was a corner unit on the 36th floor of tower B. It housed all 11 of us including kids comfortably, and was a dual key unit which was 2 units joined together. It was clean, had a washing machine, microwave /fridge and our bathrooms even had bathtubs. Both units had TVs and can be connected to Youtube also. Best of all was the views from our balcony, one overlooking the sea, and the other room's view was facing the city. We could see cruise ships, ferries, and sunsets among the beautiful blue waters of the ocean. You could just sit outside and stay silent enjoying the sight. Good for reducing stress. The condo also comes with an inifinity pool at level 13, again with breathtaking views of Melaka. Even during school holidays period the condo was not overwhelmed by Airbnb guests ( like some other condos in Melaka can get during public holidays), it was overall a lovely stay. Host was responsive and no issue with checking in. As for the attached mall, at ground floor there is a 7-eleven and Zus coffee which our family utilized. Hope the mall itself can have more shops in future as the location is ideal (not far from Jonker and Dataran Pahlawan, and Portuguese settlement).

If you get the sea view apartments, it is rather nice. We got both the sea view and the portuguese settlement views. On Deepavali eve we could see the Melaka skyline burst with alot mini firework celebrations. The facilities like the pool has a great view but maintenance seems to be a little run down - becareful of the broken wooden boards and the ladders in the pool are not functional (do not have any rungs). Pick the off peak hours like 7-9am or 12.30-3.00pm to enjoy empty pool - especially if you want to swing lengths. The apartment also has squash and tennis courts. There is a 7eleven downstairs which is well stocked and Altitude Rooftop bar and restaurant outlets are available for a more upmarket experience. You can also book tables and birthday parties - very beautifully done and the view is gorgoues at night. The old town of Melaka is just 10 mins drive away. Usually if you rent an apartment, one car park space is provided. There is currently an open car park lot opposite the Tower B/ Altitude entrance that charges RM6 per entry or RM8 for overnight stay. Parking on the street is not recommended as you may get a traffic ticket.

A 8 year old condo but feels more like a 16 year old. Probably envisioned to be like Marina Bay Sands in Singapore (in terms of architecture and ambition) but in reality, pales in comparison. This is a typical story of properties in Malaysia. Great ambition, nice marketing but in the end, dwindles and deteriorates rapidly after TOP. Two towers of 40 storey. Almost fully run as airbnb by individual owners. The units facing the sea have beautiful views (esp morning sunrise). Perfect view of fireworks released in the Portuguese settlement. Facilities wise is sad. Swimming pool just offer a view with a security folk just standing there asking you to sign in and then reminding you to dry up before heading back to the lift. Gym can’t be used. Children area is closed. BBQ area looks miserable. Location wise, it is near Portuguese settlement with closed down malls or shops in vicinity. Most shops around it probably closed due to covid or bad economic planning. There are so much unused shop spaces and land that you wonder why they need building more new properties

I didnt like everything from top to bottom, the only staff that was helpful there at silverscape was the lobby guard, there are nothing there, the view for those who like muddy waters you are free to look at them, the room itself are awful, there are cocroaches everywhere, sticky floors, the wallpapers are falling out, the tv are for ants to watch, really small, then there are used towels in the master bed room which smells like rotten eggs which was disguting, theres nothing in the residences, just 7- 11 which is not 24hrs, and zus cafe and swimming pool, the checking in time, SUPER HORRIBLE, more worse you cant access any rest rooms there while waiting at the lobby, my family reach there earlier then checking in time which was 2pm, so i msg in the group chat that they created that ive arrived, my check in time was 3pm, but they just sent me a text saying that their lifts breakdown and earliest check in was 4pm. (Dont know why they cant let us know a day before) i keep msging them in the whatsapp group which theres 4 staff and none replied, so i have waited till 4 pm, i msg again, then one of them replied that checkimg in time is 4.30, this is extremely ridiculous, then my family waited again till 5pm to be checked in still theres no update, just a simple "sorry" from the group, i tried contacting the host Mr Sinclair Tan, he answered my first call as im using malaysia prepaid as he cant identify my SG number, after i complained and ask him to check us in immediately, he said he will do it a.s.ap, in the end, theres no respond from him, i tried calling him many times but he refuses to answer, while we are waiting to be checked in, i see other host greeted their customer at the lobby smoothly without having to wait, we are the only family sitting at the lobby without any access to the washrooms, why cant they just let us know that there are delays in checking in so that we can plan our arrival time later then 3pm, we had a long journey and was greeted this way without access to washrooms, then at last it was 5.30pm, they sent a msg saying their cleaner are on the way from lvl 34 to sent us the key, and it took them 15mins just to take the lift down to pass the key to us, and still i wasnt rude and even says thankyou to their cleaner, so after finally get into our room, thats where i we found cocroaches and that dirty disguting towel, so i sent in the group, none replied, and guess what, they replied to my complain on the last day of my stay, goodness, i cant even explain or elaborate more about our horrible experience, i really2 wouldnt recommend this host, residence nor location, its a horrible and a nightmare experience for my family, we wish we would not go through such unimaginary horrible awful...

Great Stay with Minor Improvements Needed

Stayed here for 2 nights and overall had a really pleasant experience. The unit (CitySeaview Studio Bathtub@Silverscape C21, Tower B) is located in Melaka Raya—super convenient if you're driving, with town attractions just a few minutes away. There’s a mall literally next door (a bit quiet though), and the building itself has Zeus Cafe, a 7-Eleven at the lobby, and even an MBO cinema on the 11th floor!

The unit was clean, tidy, and comfortable. Loved the spacious bathroom with both a bathtub and hot shower—water pressure was amazing! There’s even a washing machine and a small balcony with a clothes rack, which really came in handy. Air-conditioning was cold (there are 2 units), WiFi was fast, and I really appreciated the bright room lighting. Kitchenette comes equipped with basic utensils, just enough for light cooking.

Check-in and check-out were a breeze, lifts were fast, and the security guards were genuinely polite and respectful. Parking is easy but I’d recommend topping up for the seasonal parking pass—cheaper and less hassle compared to hourly rates.

Just a few things that could be better:

The TV box needs upgrading. No local channels, Netflix didn’t work, and YouTube kept buffering—could be a pain if you're bringing kids.

The pillows could be plusher—beds were comfy though.

Front door felt a little stiff to open.

Check-in is only after 4pm, which felt a bit late. And even though check-out is at 12pm, housekeeping messaged at 11am saying they were ready to come in—would be nicer if they gave a bit more space till the actual check-out time.

The host was super friendly and responsive. Shoutout to Helen, the caretaker—she was really nice and easy to reach whenever we needed anything.

For the price, I’d say this place is absolutely worth it. A few tweaks here and there, and it could be even better. Would definitely consider staying again next time...

Wouldn’t recommend anyone to book here. When we first reached the apartments, we noticed that there were 5 lifts but only 2 of them operating. And so it took us a while before we actually got to our floor. Right now I’ve been checking reviews and there is one from 2 months ago stating that there were only 3 lifts functioning. It just plainly looks like the management isn’t going to do anything until all the lifts are broken.

Anyway the rooms itself were something. I’m aware that the qualities of the design of the room are a fault of design because this condo was built for airbnb owners- but it was so hectic on arrival as it was so small. Everything was so squashed together that it just looked and felt so crowded. There aren’t any proper rooms beside the bathroom. Another thing to note was the smell. There was just a really awful smell of dust and an unknown something in the air. It was obvious that nobody had entered this room in a while.

The awful smell saga only continued as we entered the bathroom. The bathroom was large and it did look nice but, with the smell being very strange and offputting, the fact was easily overlooked.

The only saving grace was that we had a sea view. But that’s not really very important when all you want in a clean room and bed to sleep in. So we decided to check out the next morning. And after doing so, we realized that that was also probably a waste of money.

The beds themselves gave of the same prickly smell and to those sensitive to dust, beware!!! I don’t think these sheets have been changed since the Middle Ages. I think we only fell asleep out of sheer exhaustion.

I’m glad we’ve only had to endure one night because I don’t think I can...
