Not satisfied with the food at all. We are a foodie family who have been to many good restaurants but Wildseed Bistro’s food last night was very below average.
Wagyu Burger was VERY dry and tasteless. No gravy/sauce no nothing. I understand not having gravy/sauce for wagyu because it is a premium beef but that beef taste nothing near premium. Balinese Chicken was RAW! The chicken was still clucking. Again, it was a very dry meal and not fresh. (We informed the staff and they politely apologies. They wanted to replace but we said no because we have actually eaten 80% of it only to realise it’s raw inside) Beef bakar tenderloin with butter rice - Yet again, beef was dry and not tender. Butter rice but where’s the butter taste? Quite a weird combination tbh. Wagyu pizza didn’t taste premium. It was just ok. Wouldn’t repeat. Wagyu tasted like roadside stall burger minced beef and it was overpowered by the capsicum and onions taste. Didn’t taste wagyu beef at all. Kids platter was OVERPRICED. Half of the plate were just cheap frozen fries. For RM75, the only worth items were the milkshakes instead of the food itself. Kids didn’t even enjoy anything. Should have more kids meal option (healthy ones at least) Imagine coming with just 1 kid and your only option is a RM75 kids platter that serves frozen fries, nuggets, fish fillets, cheesy stick, dry mini burgers and drummets. The only nice thing was the small plate - fried chicken wings. Also, it was ridiculous that it is compulsary to pre-order 8 food and 8 drinks following the group booking we made. As long as our total order make sense, it should be fine. Without additional 3-4 waters, our order was already RM800++ anyway.. We have 3 kids who only drink plain water from their tumbler and an elderly who has strict diet. I don’t need drinks for them but I am forced to order.
Wanted to surprise the birthday boy so we didn’t know what our birthday boy would want to eat or drink. We wanted to order later and let the birthday boy choose but weren’t allowed because of pre-order “restaurant policy”. We need to pre-order following the number of pax booked. We had to assume what birthday boy wants and he ended up with the raw Balinese Chicken and had the worst food experience ever.
Please improve your food!
Ambience and staff service are good. View is amazing! Perfect for special occasions but its very dissapointing when your food is such at a premium price but quality is far from premium!
p/s: I do not recall who your lady staff that handled our orders and payment. She was really nice! Could have taken her name. She moved our tables to a shaded place bacause it was raining, moved the tables herself (it was heavy), apologised on the Balinese Chicken and offered to replace, split our bill so we could get 10% Malaysian citizen discount on ala carte items and took our feedback seriously by writing it on...
Read moreFirst and foremost, Scenery is breathtaking, Scenic view of Malacca town. Secondly, Exceptional Service provided by the supervisor in charge name Wawa in helping us resolve our billing. Only a few minor inconvenience which I would like to address. We ordered the Wagyu beef burger. And it took a very long time to be served. All of our other orders have been server and it seems like one of the orders which is the burger. was somehow forgotten. Which was thankfully resolve after about 45 minutes. And the Mix platter Came all cold not even hot or warm.
It is very hard to communicate with the staff as most of them are foreigner and they only understand Bahasa partially. Which is a struggle for both ends.
And lastly. The one that is most dissatisfied is how we were treated when settling the payment. We are paying by cash and didn't been informed that the policy has been changed to cashless due to some miscommunication between the staff and financing. And Wawa assisted us by bringing along her superior which is a man in suit. He came by with a very rude and demanding personality. Kept asking us to pay via cashless. Then when he finally decided to allow cash payment he just slam down the float money onto the cabinet towards his staff and said "next time cashless means cashless" not really sure if it was towards his staff or directed at us. But it was a very unprofessional attitude. I've also been in a service industry for some time and I fully understand that this isn't the proper way to treat your guest/customer or your staff. I strongly hope that the management would look into the person in charge and...

Date of Visit: [Insert date] Occasion: Dinner with my husband
Food experience: Unfortunately, the food completely missed the mark. I ordered the Tom Yum Goong (RM62), and it was a major letdown. The mussels were overcooked, the clams were undercooked and not fresh—most were closed, which is a serious food safety concern. The prawns were mushy and improperly deveined, indicating poor quality and freshness. Worst of all, the soup was overly salty to the point it was inedible. For RM62, I honestly expected better—I've had far superior versions by the roadside for under RM16.
My husband ordered the Ayam Goreng Berempah Burger (RM43), and again, the presentation and quality were disappointing. Instead of a proper patty, he received a bone-in fried chicken thigh sandwiched between buns—messy to eat, lacking flavor, and certainly not what you'd expect from a dish labelled as a burger.
Ambience: The only saving grace was the rooftop ambiance and view. The setting is beautiful, especially at sunset, and makes for a romantic spot—but that’s all it offers.
Final verdict: The food was an absolute letdown, and not worth the premium prices. Despite the lovely setting, the quality and execution of the dishes make this place a one-time visit at best. A huge waste of money, and not a place we would recommend...
