I have a very bad shopping experience at this Supermarket this afternoon. I was waiting at the Green Counter for the cashier to scan my groceries. After it was completed, I showed the Fair Price QR code from my mobile for her to scan. She asked if I will be using my Link points to pay for my bill, and commented that I have many Link points. I told her not to deduct from my Link points as I will be using my credit card stored in the Fair Price app to pay. However, after I checked my receipt and my app, I found that the cashier has actually deducted from my Link points. This is totally very wrong of the cashier to ignore my instruction. I have reported the matter to the Management at that supermarket asked if the cashier has the right to decide on the mode of payment on behalf of the customer. After their investigation, I was informed that the cashier told them that I had given her the permission to use my Link points for the payment. l am very upset that despite making a mistake, the staff could even lie to cover up. Yesterday (17/7/18) I dropped by at one of your outlets inside NTUC Fairprice to get some meat. It was reaching 10 pm (but not yet) at the time. However, since all the lights were still on a staff standing behind the counter, I proceeded to place an order. But, to my surprise, she refused to render the service citing the section was closed already. I insisted it wasn't 10 pm, the official closing time, yet, but she didn't seem to care. I managed to get my order eventually but not without multiple times of asserting that it was still within the operating hours.
It was an absolutely horrible experience.
I'm not sure if it's TMS's standard of practice to refuse the service when it's reaching the closing time. If that's the case, I'd suggest that you should have declared the closing time as 9:30 pm and not 10:00 pm so that you won't set a wrong expectation to...

However this morning I met a very unpleasant and impatient staff in the self clear area. As a 69 year old elderly, I first time used the CDC voucher to pay. I chose the wrong one and so it couldn't go. I asked for help, a younger female staff just called loudly to get another staff to help. This woman came and said"we don't use this! and pressed the screen and walked away. I realized It and reselected the right one to go. However there was a small balance that I wanted to use link point in app to pay. I don't know how to go. There was nobody. It was a quiet morning. I walked around and sought help a while. She came again. "I already told you to go back". She then press go back on screen then I know how to continue. What kind of customer service that fair price is maintaining. I think more training should be done. This woman used to be quite efficient even though doesn't look pleasant...
