We had a pleasant stay at Belaire Suites. The check-in was a breeze, and the staff shone - incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with a luxurious touch thanks to the amenities. The well-equipped kitchenette with a microwave and bar fridge was a great bonus, although the microwave placement might be inconvenient for shorter guests.
The staff's attentiveness deserves recognition. Even though our initial first-floor room lacked an ocean view, they happily accommodated us with a stunning vista on a higher floor the next day. Their courteousness and willingness to go the extra mile continued throughout our entire seven-night stay. We experienced a minor hiccup on our last night when we had to phone for towels.
Breakfast was delicious every morning, offering a great variety of choices. The kitchen is not halaal, so we had to stick to eggs and vegetarian options.
Breakfast was delicious every morning, offering a wide variety. Be aware that the kitchen isn't halaal, which limited our options to eggs and vegetarian choices.
Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi wasn't reliable during our stay. It went down upon arrival, and despite repairs, the quality remained poor. This was a hassle, as I had to use alternative arrangements for pre-scheduled online meetings.
Despite these minor hiccups, we'd recommend Belaire Suites to those seeking a luxurious and memorable stay on Durban's North Beach. The staff and room were fantastic! We're open to returning for a future visit, hoping for a smoother Wi-Fi...
Read moreThe staff was amazing and helpful, irrespective of the position they held. From the moment we walked in both Nosihpo and Nokwazi went out of their way welcoming us. Rooms/bathroom were absolutely neat and fresh. The lady Mpume that did our room although one could see on her face the fatigue but she kept going on smiling and checking if there was anything else she could do to satisfy us further. The cleaning staff supervisor one could see that she has a passion in hospitality. She always double checked if her guests where satisfied with their rooms. The rooms come with breakfast and must admit as I would put it the staff there was on the ball. Meals well prepared and catered for all even some of my Indian people that were on a fast abstaining from meat, they also was catered for. In my opinion I was uncertain if Bell Aire suite hotel was going to be good because of the reasonable rates that I paid, I was truly blown away. It was excellent and if may say out of 10, I would give it 20, that’s how pleased I was. I think this hotel is underrated. For the record my experience here started at the Jiran on the ground floor. The staff and managements service there was what made me I try the hotel. We all have our own opinions but I am sure one will be satisfied or the staff will make your stay so pleasant that you will definitely come to this hotel without second thoughts. Well done guys and continue pleasing. Can’t wait to see you next Easter weekend, or...
Read moreBelaire is a beautiful hotel with lovely interior and beach front views. Their breakfast area is close to the ocean view you enjoy the ocean view why enjoying your meal. Their client etiquette is amazing and room service requests are attended on time.
The hotel is also close to many amenities like Ushaka Marine, Moses Mabida Stadium and the Harbour and other lovely restaurants and hotels like the Southern Sun.
I think Belaire can improve on their reception staff etiquette, their reception area was loud when I first arrived and their staff where busy chatting while attending to clients. At first when I arrived and saw their disorganized reception area I truly thought I was in a 2star hotel the way the conducted themselves, they don't make you feel appreciated and important as a client and to me service is everything. I would rather pay more just to have a good service.
Further the clients the also allow can disadvantage the hotel as I was staying there a group of people which came for a conference checked in and I think the senior stayed close to our room as they frequent to that room more often. They were load and made noise from 8pm to 2am.
However their manager Natasha came to our rescue and provided us with a Deluxe room ,they moved us to that room at no cost , it was such a beautiful and amazing room with no noise at all.
Either than the above I truly enjoyed my stay at Belaire and will go back again should I go d...
