The Oceanic would have gotten four stars if it hadn't been for the generator like sounding air conditioner and a few other issues.
The first apartment had a hot plate and that was of no help because I needed an oven, didn't I?! We were given another apartment that was nicer but still no oven. They don't put in ovens in a two sleeper because we don't roast or bake. If you're going to put in a hot plate stove, spend a little more and put in one that comes with an oven...nuf said
The general layout of the kitchen is simple and lacked thought and whilst we don't spend hours in it (we're on holiday or working), we want it to be functional...simple can still be functional.
The bedroom was lovely...no complaints except for the noisy air conditioner.
There was no soap dish or shower caddy or a shelf of any sort, on which to place your toiletries. Be careful of getting a scalding when in the shower...happened to us a couple of times.
You should take back your money from the contractor that does your renovations or if you're hiring a handyman, someone should oversee his/her work. The lack of pride in their job and untidy work in the painting, grouting and silicone robs you of nailing that upmarket look you're trying to achieve with your porcelain tiles, stone cladding, bespoke wallpaper, etc.
The staff were lovely. Mr. Moyo, the manager, was even lovelier (just a wonderful man)and quite accommodating. I applaud what he tries to do with the given budget.

The security guard was extremely aggressive towards us because of a parking bay. The receptionist and cleaning staff are just rude. If you ask them to do something they will tell you to do it yourself. Our safe locked and no one was willing to help us. We had to travel all the way back to Limpopo and they refused to help us. It was the most uncomfortable stay. The person who was helpful was Sipho the manager when we were able to get a hold of him but before that we were lied to about where he is and what time he starts work. I wouldn't recommend this...

Apartments are much more pleasant and comforting to the eye but same old facilities and same disgusting jacuzzi and pool area which is a mission to get to, not to mention that you have bring your own poolside towels as this first resort facility does not provide any (first resort I have heard of that inconveniences guests).
