Chojun Textile & Quilt Art Museum — Attraction in Seoul

You do need to make a reservation but you can do so easily via email (no same day requests). If you are interested in quilting, textile art, and Korean traditional garments then this is the museum for you! The docent is amazing and so kind. I think it's best experienced if you can speak Korean but she can also explain things in English (and the exhibit had English signs and explanations too). I had such an amazing time learning about this aspect of Korean culture and would definitely recommend to anyone in the area interested in the same! It is a small but lovely museum. Definitely my new favorite museum...

The attendant lady was lovely and also a great English speaker. ☺️ The museum is not so big therefore it's easy to get around despite that a lot of beautiful artwork is presented. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in any sorts of design. (The collection is international and I was happy to see it as a Hungarian that there were quite a few pieces from my country) maybe you will also find some from yours 😊 just make sure to book an appointment...

It's a bit of a maze around the place before you'll find it. Also, do NOT be fooled by the many brown direction signboards, they ALL point in the opposite way. Somebody had way too much soju the day before putting up those signs.
