The Korean Postage Stamp Museum is located in the basement of the Seoul Central Post Office building. Being on my second visit, the museum has changed since my first visit in mid 2019. It has become more interactive and child-friendly. Entry is free and there are free lockers to store your possessions until the 5pm closing time. However, the museum counter no longer sells commemorative back issues of Korean stamps as it used to. This is a great pity as one of the joys of visiting the museum previously was to purchase stamps (especially important for stamp collectors) at face value - who would say no to a presentation folder of the 2018 North-South Summit as a nice keepsake! To purchase commemorative stamps, head to Counter 10 of the Central Post Office, which is connected through a linkway to the museum, and ask for "special stamps". Stamp selections are mostly miniature sheets and far more limited in variety - but can still be bought at face value

Fantastic place to stop by if you are collecting memorial stamps. This place is separated from the post office so you can also buy things even on Saturday. On the top of it, if you are lucky enough, you can collect some limited editions as well.

This place is amazing. They sell a lot of different Korean stamps and the people working there is also very kind. It's conveniently located next to Seoul Central Post Office.

It is a nice museum that is located on the 1st basement of the Post Tower. It illustrates the development of the korean stamp from the beginning in the 19th century until today. All issued korean stamps from each year can be seen. You can lesrn how stsmps were designed and printed, now and then. You can also see several special stamps from all over the world that are made of unique materials like silk, wood or metals. The museum gives interesting insights in several aspects of philatelia. It is worth a visit for every stamp enthusiast. You can buy the latest korean stamps either in the museum or the post office. For more stamps, also foreign ones, visit the nesrby underground mall. There are app. 8 shops that deal with international coins and stamps. Here you can also find complete sets of stamps...
