Starfield Coex Mall, Asia's largest underground shopping mall in the world. One may say it's a jack-of-all-trades Mall where visitors have every opportunities to enjoy themselves with plenty of things to do all in one place. It has an area of 154,000 sq meters of which 144,000 sq meters are on a single underground floor. One can find the most famous and insanely creation library within the Mall, the two-story Starfield Library, home to more than 50,000 books & magazines adorning the 13-meter tall giant bookshelf. Apart from the library, visitors can also visit the massive and intricate COEX Aquarium, see a movie at the Megabox COEX, try a hand of poker at the Seven Luck Casino where only foreigners are allowed; shop till you drop with the large variety of shops for clothings and accessories, plus plenty of dinning options with a mix of both cafes and full-on restaurants to suit every taste-buds. Not to forget of course is the COEX Convention Centre where more than 20 Int'l trade shows are held each year, for example, the Intercharm Korea, a event that happens each year. Not to forget is the Public Art that are on display all around COEX, like the most famous statues in Gangnam, the Gangnam Style hands sculpture. To access the Mall, one can either take Line 2 of the Seoul Subway and get off at Samseong Subway Station exit 5 or 6, or take Line 9 and get off at the Bongeunsa Subway Station exit 7. If you are visiting COEX for leisure or convention, I recommend the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas or the InterContinental Seoul COEX, both IHG 5 Star hotel situated at either ends of the Starfield COEX Mall with it's own indoor pool. All in all, it's a must visit place wherever you are in Seoul.
