Terrible casino be weary.
I won a lot of money there but they're failing to provide proof of funds and I'm having to go through legal channels. On top of that their VIP service is absolutely shocking unlike what they do in Vegas they have integrity here they don't provide anywhere near that level of service.
An elderly man told me the casino seems rigged too. It could be true but it could also not be true.
This was my experience and I want to give you some valuable advice because gambling can ruin your life like any addiction…
I went in and I won a lot of money luckily playing blackjack but you know that’s not the case most of the time in casinos because the house wins most of the time.
They took me into a private room I wanted cash I didn’t want them to keep the money. They called out their VIP dude and the purpose is because you’re a big gambler they want to get their money back and more so they promise you so called VIP treatment . It’s kind of like a trap.
Don’t get their taxi book your own through Uber or Bolt so you don’t have the possibility of getting ripped off like I did by the cab companies that they work with.
In Vegas they call them “hosts” and they give you lots of perks and complimentary services such as free accommodation, travel, meals, drinks. and shows and they have integrity in vegas they actually do it. They want to treat you well because they know they’ll make the money back and some.
They said all these things to me in Barcelona casino lots of perks and free accomodation. I told them my dates and they said on the day it should be fine and they’ll speak to their boss.
And then It’s F1 this weekend and they’ve told me even though I’m around for several days after the F1 is over they won’t give me free accommodation even though I gambled a lot they’d want to win the money back obviously and entice me in. But they didn’t figure something out.
It’s actually very disappointing after I was probably their biggest gambler of the day.
The casinos play games with you and what I would suggest is if you enjoy gambling set yourself limits and targets for wins and losses. It’s hard but do it.
Casinos will try to rinse you dry so just be careful because they really don’t care about you just how much they can get from you.
I hope this very honest review helps you in some way shape or form.
They’ll probably write some type of defensive response to this so just be careful of not just this casino but any casino. After all they’re out to make money from you and don’t really care about you.
Wishing you the best of luck.
Beat the casino and always try to leave as a winner. It’s not easy but if you're in a dark hole just be careful and cut your losses bar yourself and rebuild your life you'll be glad...
Read moreDuring my recent visit to Barcelona, I had the opportunity to explore Casino Barcelona, a popular destination for those seeking a thrilling gambling experience. Located near Platja de la Nova Icària, the casino offers two distinct levels, each catering to different gaming preferences.
Before entering the casino, it is important to note that a passport is required as mandated by Spanish regulations. After the registration, the staff will provide a paper pass that allows for multiple entries throughout the day, ensuring convenience for visitors who may wish to go in and out. Additionally, it is necessary to register each day you visit the casino, adhering to the casino's policies.
The lower level, known as the beach floor, is where the live table games are located. Operating from 2 PM to 5 AM, this section offers an exciting array of table games for enthusiasts. During my visit, which took place on a Saturday afternoon, the casino was not crowded, allowing for a comfortable and relaxed gaming experience. The minimum bet for blackjack was 20 euros, providing options for both seasoned players and those looking to try their luck.
On the upper level, referred to as the street level, the gaming area is primarily composed of machines. Open from 9 AM to 5 AM on Sunday through Thursday, with extended hours until 6 AM on Fridays, Saturdays, and holiday eves; this section caters to those who prefer machine-based gaming. The absence of traditional chips is noteworthy, as bets are placed directly using the machines. There are 5 euro tables available on this level, with live dealers providing an interactive gaming experience.
While exploring the upper level, I discovered a variety of gaming options, including poker, Pi-kow, and roulette. However, it's important to note that Casino Barcelona does not offer a craps table, which may be a disappointment for enthusiasts of that...
Read moreBad service all around. I've been in several casinos in Europe, and that one stands out. I came there to play poker in the wpt500.
Disorganized registration for tournaments - the table/seat numbers that are printed on your ticket is incorrect, and they actually assign you new ones on the floor, which is in most cases to a table of 10 (!!) Players. Happened several times, all tables are 10 players "due to the number of players" even though they have free tables.
They lie about the blind tables - on their website, it says they have 1/3 no limit, but without any notice, during the wpt they raised the minimum blinds to 5/5. That is just terrible etiquette. Made my trip all that much worse. Had I known that in advance, I would have gone to a different casino.
They don't allow eating inside snacks from outside - not even a protein bar. So you effectively are limited to their overpriced mediocre restaurent.
Lightings at the poker tables are bad.
They don't allow eating near the poker tables.
They don't open more cash tables (PLO and NLH) even when the waiting lists are more than 20 people to a single game ( i.e. 22 players waited for 5/5 NLH).
They utterly disregard time frames - tournaments starting 30 minutes late, changing long breaks from 40 to 30 minutes, as well as moving breaks completely, i.e. they said after level 12 there would be 40 minutes break, but instead decided without notice to have the break after level 11.
They can't handle the number of players coming there. Due to lack of space, there was a 500+(!!!) Players waiting list to the tournament. The place was overcrowded like hell.
If you're in Barcelona and want an evening of poker, then maybe it's fine. But if you plan a poker trip, go...
