Barcelona Casino: A Novice's Experience with a 200€ Water Try

During my recent visit to Barcelona, I had the opportunity to explore Casino Barcelona, a popular destination for those seeking a thrilling gambling experience. Located near Platja de la Nova Icària, the casino offers two distinct levels, each catering to different gaming preferences. Before entering the casino, it is important to note that a passport is required as mandated by Spanish regulations. After the registration, the staff will provide a paper pass that allows for multiple entries throughout the day, ensuring convenience for visitors who may wish to go in and out. Additionally, it is necessary to register each day you visit the casino, adhering to the casino's policies. The lower level, known as the beach floor, is where the live table games are located. Operating from 2 PM to 5 AM, this section offers an exciting array of table games for enthusiasts. During my visit, which took place on a Saturday afternoon, the casino was not crowded, allowing for a comfortable and relaxed gaming experience. The minimum bet for blackjack was 20 euros, providing options for both seasoned players and those looking to try their luck. On the upper level, referred to as the street level, the gaming area is primarily composed of machines. Open from 9 AM to 5 AM on Sunday through Thursday, with extended hours until 6 AM on Fridays, Saturdays, and holiday eves; this section caters to those who prefer machine-based gaming. The absence of traditional chips is noteworthy, as bets are placed directly using the machines. There are 5 euro tables available on this level, with live dealers providing an interactive gaming experience. While exploring the upper level, I discovered a variety of gaming options, including poker, Pi-kow, and roulette. However, it's important to note that Casino Barcelona does not offer a craps table, which may be a disappointment for enthusiasts of that particular game.

This dealers mistake cost me approximately €200. I had no intent to fold my winning hand at show down. Both of my cards were near my chip stack, the dealer assumed I’m folding and reached over the line and took my cards and put them in the deck…. Disclaimer: the dealer’s name was not given to me, therefore I am posting this picture so others know. Money is just money at the endof the day but standing by what is right is more important, and the poker room management failed to make right of their employees’ mistake. I approached them calmly and in a professional manner. Even after the manager agreed with me that the dealer did in fact make the mistake, no remedy was offered. It’s disappointing that a large establishment like them can’t resolve a simple mistake, make things right and move on. The mentioned dealer does not possess a common sense for the game of poker to be a qualified cash game dealer. Good cash game dealers must ensure players are given an adequate opportunity to protect a live hand.

We visited this casino for 888 live poker event. First of all chips of the tournament were very dirty, sticky and almost unplayable. Floor told me that they know, receive many claims but can’t do anything about it. Also there were too few monitors with tournament info, from some positions you couldn’t even see the blind levels. There was a football match going on on in a poker area instead 🤯 Then we went for a cash game. There was a line of 21 players. And there were many free tables, dealers going around everywhere and floor explained the reason why they can’t open additional table as “we already have 6 tables running, it may take you only 30-40 min to get your seat as you are 10-th in line”. It’s some joke! Casino just refused to earn free money as rake. All in all the place is nice but managers should take care of their own business, current approach is just not serious.

This place provides a comfortable and safe environment to make money in poker. Perhaps gamble a portion of winnings in blackjack. Service is on point compared to other casinos in Portugal and Spain. The security team is wonderful here. Always present but laid back at the same time. Food is a bit expensive, but you do get what you pay for here. When order arrived everything was really quite delicious. Steak and asparagus was cooked exactly as ordered. Squid was also done exceptionally well. The outdoor area was perfect place to unwind and mingle. Outdoor bar/restaurant was closed (probably due to covid or winter season). Love the laid back vibe here. See you next time, Casino Barcelona.

As someone who isn't typically drawn to casinos or gambling, stumbling upon Casino Barcelona was an unexpected detour during my exploration of the city. However, what caught my attention wasn't the allure of the tables or the slot machines, but rather the sight of racing cars speeding by from the outside. Paying just £15, I experienced an electrifying 17-minute thrill ride, leaving me breathless with every turn. The friendly staff, notably a Pakistani attendant, enhanced the upbeat atmosphere. However, a downside came when my Islamic Visa card wasn't accepted due to the casino's policies, dampening my enthusiasm momentarily.
