Platja de la Nova Mar Bella — Attraction in Barcelona

It is a shame that almost all showers on the city beaches are closed. There is only one available. And there is NO SOAP in the toilet, never. Today (right now) I met a cleaning lady there and asked about the soap. And she told me that yes, there is no soap, because it can leak out from dispenser and it can be dangerous. So nobody is going to refill it at all. They think it is OK NEVER WASH YOUR HANDS AFTER THE TOILET, at least after the toilet! Surprisingly good beach very close to the centre of Barcelona. The sea is much cleaner than in the other parts of Barceloneta. Very comfortable parking, a snacks and drinks bar. The sea gets quite deep after two or three steps so you don't have to walk long distances when you really are in for a serious swim. The sand is quite large and clean. Occasional vendors of drinks and people offering you a massage but nothing to annoy you. I enjoyed...

A very beautiful beach on Barcelona close to the Poblenou new area. Offers stunning views of both the city and you can see W Barcelona from afar. It’s very tranquil and relaxing to sit on the sands and enjoy the sunshine on these lovely days in February. The weather is a bit cooler but I think it’s perfect.
