Tragic treatment of customers. I went up to order alcohol and ask about renting lounge chairs - the lady who was making my mohito told me to ask the gentleman circulating between the tables. I omit the fact of waiting for a drink for ages, but I know that generally in Spain rather no one is in a hurry :) The “gentleman” ignored me, so I sat down with a friend at a table because we were still waiting for another friend who was about to join us - he had with him beach bags with water and snacks. The guy then immediately noticed us and said that even if we rented sun beds we could not have our food and drink, he was acting rude. My colleague stated that in that case he was just going to get a drink to go and we we will change place. Unluckily for Mr. waiter, the colleague knows Spanish and heard him say to the waitress: however, maybe I will let them stay with their stuff because it looks like they are ordering and there will be a money from them. Thank you sincerely, tragic and...

Guingueta BeGay is a true gem on Mar Bella Beach in Barcelona! From the moment we first arrived, we have always felt welcomed by the warm, friendly, and attentive staff who make every visit special. Service is quick, cheerful, and personal — a rare find in such a busy beach spot.
The atmosphere is relaxed and vibrant, with a mix of locals, tourists, and beach lovers creating the perfect summer vibe. We enjoyed delicious tapas, refreshing beer and cava, and the best sangría! The sound of the sea just a few steps away feels like magic.
Special thanks to the amazing team from Andreas, Gerardo, Leslie, Sala, Jennifer, to everyone else, whose positive energy and smiles transformed a beautiful location into an unforgettable experience!!!
Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, fantastic service, and a welcoming LGBTQ+ atmosphere right by the water. We will...
Read moreMany years ago I used to love their drinks and service. This time around not so much. We will start bringing our own drinks to the beach and laying on the sand. They have the worst rude staff - like you are an inconvenience to them and they serve mediocre blend food (it's all pre made, just heated up). But Chiringuito is basically a monopoly running hundreds of these all over Spain so I suppose they don't care??? The other day, the person who took your dirty money is the same one making the drinks and using their dirty hands to grab mint and ice (nasty). Yesterday the very rude beach attendant threw a lounge chair on the sand and walked away when a client requested a chair, just unacceptable. People all around just looked at each other in disbelief. I really hope more people would stop buying their stuff and renting their chairs so new management would come and...
