Bambú Beach Bar — Restaurant in Barcelona

I wanted to give this five stars...but there were a couple reasons I couldn't, and one of them might not be a reason you will agree with. We will get there last. The nachos were good, but left me expecting much more. The ingredients were not what you grow to expect from the local menus. It was sore brought (it tasted that way) guacamole, and the cheese was nach sauce and not real cheese. Highly disappointed. The main reason it's not rated higher was that it was too many dogs and one was roaming around free, not acceptable in a restaurant. The chicken tacos are well worth the purchase, very delicious especially if eaten while hot, add sour cream.... trust me on this. If u don't come for anything else, these last 2 items are the draw for me. The churros and hot chocolate, mucho bueno! Nothing else to say about that. The red sangria half liter......ohh my stars...sooo good. Those two things mixed with the great views and the excellent staff there make this spot a must visit if in the area. Highly...

I wanted to share my dissatisfaction with the service we received during our recent visit. When we arrived at 7:20, the waiter informed us that the bar would close at 8, which we appreciated. However, the ordering process was quite frustrating. The server only asked my friend for her order, misinterpreting her request for one glass of white wine as two, and she didn’t even ask me what I wanted.

To make matters worse, before we received our drinks, she placed the bill on our table and immediately brought over a payment terminal without our asking. This left us feeling rushed and unwelcome. It felt like the staff was more focused on closing up than on providing us a pleasant experience. If this is how customers are treated, we won’t...

Nice friendly staff and a good spot to have a drink or something to eat close to the dog friendly beach. We both ate their cheese burgers with potato wedges which were delicious after a long bike ride there along the riverside cycle path from Montmelo. They asked whether we wanted them well done or medium and the medium were cooked through but still perfectly juicy and tender. For drinks my wife had a virgin mojito with ginger beer which was really tasty and I had a nice cold pint of Heineken and then coffees after the meal. The waitress was friendly, spoke great English and petted our little dog. A nice little beach bar...
