This place has the worst service I’ve ever received. The service was so horrific, that I had to write a review. We were lying in the lounge chairs (you have to order something to use them, which is perfectly fair) so I went up to the bar and asked the kind man working if I could order a glass of wine in have it be brought in an hour since I was studying and not ready to drink or eat anything yet. He said of course. This horrifically rude waiter then came up to us, and took our order explaining that we could not sit at the chairs without ordering. My two friends ordered and I offered to pay for the wine and asked if they could bring it out in an hour so I can study and it wouldn’t get warm. She refused so I ordered a green tea. Another sweet girl came back to charge us, and she explained we couldn’t pay separately, I asked if there was a way that we could, and she said if we pay at the bar we could. Shortly after the rude lady that took our order came back and argued with us about paying the whole bill together (speaking over me when I tried to explain, aggressive tone, rude comments etc.) she told us if we wanted to pay separate we had to order in the bar. So we went to the bar to order. When we went to pay the lady at the bar told we couldn’t pay separately, to which I tried to explain the confusion, when the rude waitress from before came up and i dismissed her and told her we were paying. She then came up again and told us the only place we can split is the takeout window at the bar (which she never specified) both me and my friend were confused because we had ordered from that window, when we were explaining she was talking over us, raising her voice to the point where she began to yell at us. She threatened to call the police on us for not paying (which we had already told her we were paying but tried to explain how it we couldn’t send money to each other due to external circumstances and we were confused on why we couldn’t pay separately) she continued to yell over us. Eventually my friend had already paid and she continued to yell at me and call me dumb. Until I started crying. She got more aggressive and I started backing up asking her why she was yelling at me, and she kept following in my direction pointing a finger in my face, she continued to yell about “how I’m dumb”, “how I was trying to sit in their chair without out ordering”(which wasn’t the case I offered to pay for the wine and asked them to wait to bring it out, and once she said no ordered), she said I was causing problems before when I came in (we wanted to pay separate before and just paid together, and ordered more I paid the bill 2x there was never any hysterics) she yelled about how I’m wasting their work time. And yelled about how I need to leave and grab my stuff and never come back. Mind you, the entire time she was yelling I was crying and telling her I wasn’t trying to waste her time and I was just confused. Even the other workers were telling her it’s done my friend had already paid, and she continued to be aggressive with me. This lady claimed she was the manager, she was about 50-60. If the owner sees this review, they take a look at the cameras and reconsider her employment. Because this type of aggressive behavior to a young girl or anyone is extremely...
Read moreI recently had the unfortunate opportunity to visit a beach hut that left a sour taste in my mouth, both figuratively and literally. The place in question seemed like a promising spot to grab some beachside snacks, but alas, it turned out to be a rather nightmarish ordeal.
First and foremost, the quality of the food was abysmal. It felt like I was served leftovers from weeks ago that had been sitting out in the sun for far too long. The dishes were stale, tasteless, and in some cases, borderline inedible. As someone who enjoys fresh and appetizing beach snacks, this was a huge disappointment.
To make matters worse, the staff running the hut seemed to have taken a master class in rudeness. From the moment I placed my order, I was met with eye-rolls and disdainful sighs, as if they were doing me a huge favor by reluctantly serving me. The lack of basic courtesy and politeness was appalling, to say the least.
The service itself was nothing short of a disaster. Orders were mixed up, and some customers had to wait an eternity to receive their food, while others got served multiple times ahead of them. It was a chaotic mess, and the staff didn't seem to care about rectifying their mistakes or addressing the glaring inefficiencies.
Adding insult to injury, the beach hut seemed to attract a particular crowd of rowdy and intoxicated tourists. Instead of a relaxing beachside experience, it felt like being trapped in a frat party gone wild. Loud conversations, drunken shouting, and unruly behavior were the norms, making the whole dining affair even...
Read moreThe woman working at the bar is probably the most human-hating person in town. How is it possible that a person like this is allowed to work with customers at all? On my first visit, we were sent away in the pouring rain because we only wanted to order one tea. I spoke to the waitress, who was visibly sorry about the whole thing, but the mentioned bartender woman had given her the order. My companion wrote a bad review, after which they - presumably the owner - apologized to us. But here's the twist: we subsequently received an email from Google stating that our review included content that violated the fake interactions policy. In other words, the apology could not have been meant very seriously. We filed an objection, which was fortunately approved by Google. At this point, thanks to the good service provided by Google for not letting the attempted fraud by the Chiringuito through. Now to my latest experience at the Chringuito: of course I will never be a customer at this place again, but last week at around 10 a.m. I used the public (!) toilet, which is next to the beach bar and whose toilet door was about 30 cm open. While I was on the toilet, someone came rushing in, banged on the door and shouted at me that the toilet was still closed. When I came out, I was unsurprised to see that it was the same bartender woman who had sent us out into the heavy rain a month ago because we had only ordered a tea. She and her colleague claimed that the door should not have been open - which it was. Do me a favor and never visit this chiringuito group...
