The staff here are extremely rude and unprofessional. Everything seemed fine when we first sat down for drinks, but ordering and receiving food was a completely different story.

My friend ordered the salmon, and I chose the ham, egg, and chips. When my friend politely asked for the salmon, the waitress responded with a dismissive “HUH???” in a rude, defensive tone. Even after my friend repeated the order clearly, the waitress repeated it back almost exactly as it was originally stated.

When the food arrived, it was literally dumped on our table without a word, which already left a sour impression. Unfortunately, it only got worse: my friend’s salmon was undercooked, and my own dish was so poorly presented and unappetizing that I could only manage a few bites.

When my friend tried to politely ask for a replacement, the plate was snatched away before she could even finish explaining. The entire interaction was unnecessarily hostile and uncomfortable.

This was a terrible experience from start to finish. Reading through other reviews, it’s clear that the dismissive and defensive responses from staff to customer feedback speak volumes about their lack of professionalism and unwillingness to take constructive criticism.

If you can’t serve edible food or treat customers with basic respect, don’t expect five-star reviews. Needless to say, we will not...

Terrible experience – unclean, unfriendly, and unwelcoming.

We came with good intentions, but the visit was a disaster from the start.

Tables were dirty, and we had to wait 15 minutes before anyone bothered to clean ours — and that, without a single word or apology.

😠 The staff were rude and dismissive, answering our questions with clear annoyance. I asked, “Do you have a drink menu?” The answer: “No.” Yet menus were visibly placed on every table. Then I asked about ice cream. I was told, “Only for takeaway.” Minutes later, we saw other tables being served ice cream at their seats.

It’s not just poor service — it’s misleading, disrespectful, and careless.

This restaurant clearly doesn’t value its customers. No attention, no kindness, no cleanliness.

Avoid this place. There are many better options nearby. Don’t waste your time...

Not sure were we just in at a bad time, but compared to everywhere else we went, this place was bad. Wasn't overly busy but the staff seemed to be arguing with each other which was then taken out on us (a table of 6). We'd have probably ordered more drinks etc if someone came to use... Most of us were finished by the time the rest of the food came out. My meal was awful (chicken curry) a teaspoon of rice with prebooked chicken... 1 person liked their dish, the lasagne, everyone else agreed (never again)... It's a shame because we really wanted to enjoy it... We ate out every night, from the old town tapas bar, to country ribs just outside the town to loads of other places which we all enjoyed... This place just failed in everyway... Maybe it was just bad timing or...
