Restaurante los Ranchos — Restaurant in Benidorm

Disappointing food and service. Wasn’t offered the complimentary bread/olives and dip and water that everyone else in the restaurant was (only realised when we finished our meal) considering we have young children to entertain too. Ordered chicken and veg paella and on the whole plate there was one tiny piece of chicken on a bone and smashed bone in the dish. Complained to waiter but nothing done about it, still charged full price which everything is expensive. Partner ordered the chicken breast and literally got a plain chicken breast with no seasoning and chips, not what you expect for the price. Service by a mumbling waitress who hardly spoke to us and even told her we wasn’t happy with the meal to be just glared at and walked away. I’d say to Just avoid and spend your money elsewhere with a more welcoming atmosphere and better food and cheaper prices could have kicked...

Food poisoning. On 18th of December 2021 we were served English breakfast with sour and foul smelling beans. I only noticed the beans were rotten after eating the first spoon. We notified the waiter of the spoiled ingredient and expected to get a new portion because the beans were all over the plate and clearly contaminated the rest of the portion. He took the plates away but brought us the same eggs, sausage and bacon that were previously mixed with the beans. We made a mistake eating the portion and suffered digestive problems in a few hours - something we did not experience in Benidorm for months!

Apparently, the restaurant has a problem with storing food and quality control. Not only that, it does not value health of the customers - there was no effort made to exchange the portion or even to apologise for serving us the...

Myself and 5 girl friends visited this restaurant at various times and found the food wonderful. Cocktails were really good. White sangria was really amazing, made by the lady at the bar. We were mostly served by a beautiful young lady who worked so very hard. I can highly recommend going here for food , fully English vegan breakfast ( even though I am not a veggie) Every one worked so hard and nothing was to much trouble. It does get busy , you may have to wait a few minutes but it’s worth it as the staff are working hard to get you served . I think it is the best place to eat and...
