Service was terrible!! Waiters and waitress are all very rude. Have no sense of services and refused to speak English while we don’t understand much Spanish. If you don’t speak Spanish, do not come here at all!!! They did not follow reservation and will give you terrible table if you do not speak Spanish. We did not know the qualify of food as we ended up just left without eating. Our story is we reserved this restaurant online and specified that we want to sit outdoor to look at the view of Albraham. We got an email confirmation of our booking. We arrived on time to check in. It took the waitress forever to check us in, then a men who speak spanish walked up to talk to the waitress and requested to change his reservation. The waitress just let him jumped the line since he speaks Spanish. After waited 15 mins, the waitress told me our table is not outdoor but inside. I told her our reservation is outdoor but she insisted they only have table indoor while the restaurant was quite empty at 9pm. She directed us to sit down at a table still can see the albraham view so we accepted. A min later, a waiter came and told us that was not our table and asked us to move to another table more inside and close to the door. We refused to move as we already compromised sitting inside instead while our appointment was outside. The waitesss directed us to sit at that table and it doesn’t make sense we need to move to another worse table without a view. We told the waiter we were not moving and he started to yell at us in Spanish!! At the point we decided to just leave! Extremely terrible and ridiculous experience! We do not recommend this restaurant as they obviously discriminated us because we do not speak Spanish while they have a lot of Spanish speaking customers. We have been to many restaurants in Spain and this one is absolutely crazy shameful in dealing with customers. Albraham is a famous travel destination for international travelers. For a restaurant which hired people who refused to speak English, don’t follow reservation and yell at customer is...

I wasn’t planning to post a public review - but the restaurant asked for feedback after my reservation, which I provided privately. I shared my frustration in detail and received zero response. Since the management clearly doesn’t care, I’m posting this here so others don’t end up as upset as I was.
I booked a table two weeks in advance for my 30th birthday and specifically asked to be seated outside - I chose this restaurant for the view. Two days before our reservation, the restaurant contacted me to confirm, and I did so promptly. At that point, if they weren’t going to honor my request for an outside table, they could have at least informed me. But they didn’t - because we were just tourists, and it clearly didn’t matter to them.
When we arrived, we were offered one of the worst tables inside - no view at all, no atmosphere. I was genuinely upset and nearly cried. Only after I said it was my birthday were we moved to a high table outside. Those tables had a bar-like vibe and seemed intended for people waiting for real tables - definitely not ideal for dining. But it was still better than the sad indoor table they initially gave us, so we agreed.
Meanwhile, large groups of Spanish locals were seated at the best outdoor tables. I’m fairly sure they hadn’t booked two weeks in advance. It felt like locals were prioritized, while we - as foreigners - were pushed aside.
The food was good - my husband enjoyed his steak and my fish was decent - and the waiters were kind. But none of that made up for the disrespectful way we were treated.
If you’re a tourist planning something special and think booking early and confirming will secure you a meaningful experience - manage your...
Read moreReview of Las Tomasas in Granada
My family and I recently visited Granada for the first time, marking my inaugural experience in Spain. One evening, we decided to dine at Las Tomasas, hoping to enjoy the renowned sunset view from the restaurant.
Upon arrival, we were seated and began to anticipate the sunset. However, our initial excitement soon turned to discomfort. When the server, a bald-headed man, came to hand out menus, he inexplicably skipped over me. I chose to remain silent, hoping it was an oversight that would be corrected when he returned to take our orders.
When he did come back, my family placed their orders. I, on principle, chose not to order due to the earlier slight. This decision led to an unexpected confrontation. The server insisted that I must order something as a policy of the restaurant, and if I did not, I would have to leave. Stunned, I sought clarification, asking if he was genuinely insisting I leave my family and exit the restaurant. His response was affirmative.
At that moment, I was furious and deeply frustrated. It felt absurd and unfair to be forced to leave simply because I chose not to order. I considered standing up and loudly repeating his exact words, emphasizing the unreasonable demand that I leave my family because I didn’t place an order.
In summary, our experience at Las Tomasas was marred by poor service and a lack of hospitality. The breathtaking view of Granada’s sunset couldn’t compensate for the rudeness and rigidity we encountered. While the ambiance and setting are beautiful, the service left much to be desired. I hope the management reconsiders such rigid policies and trains their staff in better...
