We arrived in Jerez with plans of visiting one of the bigger brands but decided with our gut to visit a smaller family owned business instead. A couple of acquaintances recommended this family Bodega and we gave it a try. We didn’t regret it. A more personal tour than this you can’t get. It seemed like a busy day for the family. In spite of that, the daughter of the owner without hesitation, brought the two of us around (it’s worth taking the premium sherrys tour where a bigger variety can be tasted), explained in detail how the productions are conducted, allowed us a lot of time to just wander through their property and take in the place. At the end of it, we were presented 5 bottles for tasting, some sweet, some dry. And presented with (a lot) of tapas.
