The show was great. Very solid dancers and great space mainly catering foreigners. On the other hand, the service for me and my family was absolutely terrible. Maybe it was the fact that it was the late show (9pm), but it took the servers a while to take our order (we were sitting for a while until someone finally approached us (when the show was already starting), and they did not have time to take the food order. When the drinks arrived, they were less than optimal (I suggest drinking somewhere outside instead before coming), and one of the them (the sangria) was essentially a sugary drink. When mentioning this to the waiter, he said: "that is how we make it. I can give you another one but you will have to pay for it" (I prepaid the drink while making the reservation... highly discouraged). The food order was finally taken during the showÂŽs break, and the food did not arrive until the show was over. In essence, me and my family had to eat while everyone else had already left and the the staff was cleaning the space. Simply terrible. If you can pay a few Euros more, I suggest going to the other more known flamenco...
Read moreWe were given a flyer for Flamenco Dancing in the nearby walking Mall (Plaza). I call it a walking mall because we had no need for a car. Everything we could want while exploring Madrid is easily accessible.
Of note, I've never seen so many beautiful athletic people. Most any person you look at is poised and of ideal weight. Athletic, and tastefully dressed.
We arrived shortly before the advertised performance, and we were being led into a corridor of stone walls. I was a little concerned, since I had no experience in Madrid. My apprehension soon gave way to appreciation as we entered a small subterranean amphitheater. A stage and a band of musicians getting prepared.
We were seated and offered drinks.
We were honored with Flamenco dancing and live "thrilling" music and dance. I could not understand the Italian sung, but it sounded as though a story was being told.
Before and After, the surrounding streets are alive with social activities. Restaurants and clubs are open late. Even a few shops remained open.

Read moreIncredible experience. My wife teaches Flamenco so of course when we were in Madrid, we had to see has many performances as we were able.
Of the many performances we saw this week, this was one of our favorite. The location is wonderful and unassuming, it feels truly special and intimate.
The performers were amazing, incredible dance and music. You could truly see the joy and passion they had in their art.
The food and drinks were very good, with a nice selection.
Afterwards, we hung out at the bar upstairs and many of the performers were there as well, you could see how much they loved the place. (Sounds like this can be a common occurrence especially on Fridays and Saturdays).
Cost was extremely reasonable, especially compared to many of the more well known Flamenco locations.
With the quality of the performance, and very approachable price, this place would be great for Flamenco enthusiasts in the know, as well as those who know nothing about Flamenco and are looking forward to a first experience.
Highly...
