Saturday night out in Puerto de la Cruz. Get your glad rags on and head into town for the best night out of the holiday. Where to go for the best meal and atmosphere? Longo Steak House that's where!! An extensive menu of local delicacies, favourite dishes from other countries, and a list of steaks to please any connoisseur. We started with the tapas selection for €30 : Iberico ham (oh my god), Al Gomera cheese, Manchego, Padron peppers, and smoked salmon. For mains we skipped the steaks and went for the Black Cuttlefish Risotto. No idea just how many cuttlefish were in there but there's probably quite a few missing from the sea now, and the risotto was as black as night with the ink. Washed down with a bottle of local Rose - perfect. For dessert our waitress, the delightful Beatrice, recommended the Canarian version of tiramisu, a symphony of layers of soft biscuit, flavoured cream, and crushed meringue on top. One portion was easily enough to share between two. A tot of honey rum each too without asking. Finished with a Blue Lagoon for her, and a Black Russian for him. The service was the best yet in Tenerife, the staff are so engaging, helpful and genuinely friendly if you treat them like equals. Made our Saturday night very memorable. EDIT: We went back to Longo on the last night of our holiday, it was that good. This time we had one of the many well-aged steaks on offer as recommended by our waiter, which comes as rare strips that you can finish to your liking on the table-top griddle supplied - full instructions given. Again absolutely faultless service, and some of the best food I've ever eaten. See you again...

I went to eat here several times and I can conclude that, as a restaurant in the tourist center, their quality is pretty remarkable.

Just don't go for the burgers or cheapest meat and the potatoes have zero taste to them.

But if you go for medium and higher priced meat, you will be happy.

Staff seems to be a bit stressed out and makes some mistakes, but nothing extreme in a busy place like this.

Last tip: Always order your meat 1 rank lower than what you want... Meaning: If you like medium-rare, order a "rare". They tend to overcook.

All the rest is positive and priced perfectly, minding the location and quality.

Fyi: As a half a century old man, eating in 1000ths (possible +10.000), restaurants in 43 different countries... I think my humble opinion might be of some value. I just share the facts and nothing more.

Update: After eating here dozens of times and giving great reviews to many people and Google... I got kicked out like a piece of trash last time, because I had dogs with me?!

Must be a new dog hating owner or something?!

Spend here like, +1000€ and was handled as garbage the last time for no reason... my dogs were sleeping next to me.

The owner must be one of the most discusting people in the world to handle regular good customers like this... unbelievable this really 👏 😳

Update 2: I will never go here again, as I was never insulted as this in my life... Spending 1000ths of Euros (that's far from the point)... giving insanely good reviews... recommending many many people to go here... and just being thrown out like trash?! Wow, bravo...
