Churrería Perdomo — Restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz

I really liked this place mostly because of that you can have churros here at any time. Today we discovered that they are scamming their customers which is really disappointing. First of all you never know if the churros will cost 1,5€ or 2€ (I was already asked both prices for the same amount of churros). Also offered nutella is not really nutella. Second thing is their “sangria” - it wasn’t even a sangria, it was some cheap wine, rum, water and sugar..you can imagine how disgusting it was and they asked for this 5€..the most expensive sangria which even wasn’t sangria in my life..yuck Their menu also have prices deleted/“blured” so you don’t know what price will the waiter ask you..

Take care, they charge you depending on if you are a local or a foreigner. Fisrt day we asked for two milk coffee and one "churros", which we were told It was 2,5 euros. All included, it was 5,6 euros, not at all cheap, but well, ok. A few days later we were served by another waitress, we asked for the same, and we were charged 6 euros. I asked how much was a coffee, she answered me "two euros"... Make yourself your numbers. There is something which doesn't fit.

The terrace was crowed by local people, workers, etc not the kind of people willing to pay much for their breakfasr. Actually I heard a girl asked for her bill and two coffees were 2,5 euros. My guess is they disrespect tourists and they make Up the prices...

This place is not as good as it used to be. The service is now terribly slow, food is half cooked and very overpriced. I went with a friend for beers and some chips. The beers took over 10 minutes even though the restaurant was empty except 1 other table. The chips were half raw and tasted terrible. For 2 beers and a chips, they charged me over 11 euro, which is highway robbery. 4 years ago I came here almost daily, back then the food was good, the service was fast and the price was reasonable, even cheap. They have ruined this place. It's hard to find a bad restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz, but this is one of them. Avoid this place, go next door to...
