Beautiful luxurious split-level homy apartment.
High on the slopes next to Acantilados de Los Gigantes. From the balcony, you can see Acantilados De Los Gigantes. In front the Atlantic Ocean and La Gomera in the distance.
45-minute drive from the airport sud. From the apartment it’s a 20-minute walk towards the harbour downhill. The oneway street below is the one where the public buses drive and the way towards the harbour. So a bit noisy.
It’s a challenge to park your car via the steep slope into the parking area inside the building. You will be needing an app provided by the housekeeper José on your arrival. If there’s a second car, you need to park on the street, which will be a huge challenge.
The apartment is on the first floor. Accessible by elevator, but you need to go through a partly covert courtyard with twice, a few steps. So the apartment is not suitable for wheelchairs or people who have problems walking stairs.
Large homy living. TV with several film apps. Bring your own access codes! Large kitchen with refrigerator and freezer. Oven, separate microwave, dishwasher, Dolce gusto coffee machine, water-cooker, and toaster. Some coffee cups and a large selection of tea are available. Complementary red and white wine. The only things missing for kitchen supplies are scissors, a good frying pan, and bowls for desert. Ample supply of spices and salt. You get some dishwasher tablets and bin-bags (dumpster right outside the building). Living with AC.
Down and accessible by stairs (17 steps) are the bedrooms. Two with entrance to the downstairs balcony. 1 ensuite with a bath, and the other two share a bathroom with a shower. The bedrooms have fans. Mattresses are hard. Multiple pillows, some memory foam.
WiFi in the whole apartment and balconies. Each floor has a balcony. Downstairs has the biggest balcony with a hammock.
In the shady courtyard is a closed small room with washing machine and iron/board. Washing liquid is provided.
On the 4th floor is the swimming pool.
Because of the cliffs behind the apartment, you’ll have sun after 11 o’clock. No bugs or mosquitoes spotted.
Now, half of April, it gets hot on the balconies and inside. There are sunshades.
The whole apartment and balconies are non-smoking!
Until 12 o’clock there will be music and noise from the towns pubs and hotels
The housekeeper can be reached by WhatsApp and responds quickly. He is very willing to give you suggestions if you are in need of information. Friendly and hospitable. The housekeeper has an apartment on...
Read moreLos Gigantes – what a stunning place! The views, especially at sunset, are breathtaking, and the waters are warm and beautifully clear. Just a quick tip: the beach is rocky, so bring water shoes and plenty of sunblock as it can get quite warm. It’s honestly the best spot to watch the sun go down.
We did have one minor incident when my son was stung by a jellyfish about 100 yards from shore. He swam back in a lot of pain, but thankfully, the lifeguard acted quickly, putting up flags and alerting beachgoers. He took great care of my son, treating the stings with antihistamines and cream, and within 20 minutes, the pain was gone.
All in all, Los Gigantes is a fantastic destination, perfect for a romantic getaway too. Highly...
