Restaurante Pekin Garden — Restaurant in Santiago del Teide

Thought we would give Peking Garden a try even after reading some poor reviews. Before we entered we spoke to a couple who were just leaving who recommended it. When we arrived we were greeted at the entrance and asked to choose an available table, they immediately took our drinks order and then given menus, it wasn’t long before they came back to take our order.

5 of us got the "banquet for 4", and it fed us very comfortably. If there were any more food, it would have been difficult to finish. Everything came relatively quickly, with one dish coming very soon after we had finished the previous dish. The waiter was also very helpful and friendly. We swapped the spare ribs for satay chicken, as we don't eat pork. We were not disappointed!

We got a takeaway with a set meal starter to share, I would advise unless your a big eater then just buy one main course as the portions are very generous we bought 2 mains and to be honest I didn't particularly like mine however my wife enjoyed hers, probably my choice was a bad one however the restaurant is clean and staff are very friendly you get a free battle of wine with your takeaway if you spend €14 or more and to be honest it was a decent bottle of red wine which went down a treat, sit down meals are available very spacious.
