Slottsskogen’s animal park is a beautiful, free experience nestled within a serene forest. Here, you’ll find majestic Nordic wildlife like elk and deer roaming in spacious enclosures. Some animals are shy, so sightings aren’t always guaranteed – but that’s part of the charm 🌿🦉

The whole area is well-kept and peaceful, perfect for a slow stroll or nature break. It’s a bit of a walk, so tired legs are to be expected – but there are plenty of benches, picnic spots, kiosks, and bathrooms along the way 🚶‍♀️🍃

I had a wonderful time at Slottsskogen Park! It’s a very large and peaceful place, perfect for long walks and relaxing moments. I went with my baby, and we really enjoyed the fresh air and the space to move around. There are so many animals to see (like moose, seals, goats, and more) which makes it a fun visit, especially for kids. I also loved the picnic areas, which are well placed and great for taking a break. Just a small note: since it’s a natural area, you might come across insects; I got a small bite during the walk, so bringing insect repellent could be helpful. But overall, it’s a beautiful and free place to enjoy nature in Göteborg. Highly recommend it for families, nature lovers, or anyone looking for a calm and beautiful...

It's a free public park. Open 24/7. Moose 🫎 deers, pigs, Penguins, seals, goats, hens and other animals are there. When I will visit fully crowded and glad to see feeding seals and Penguins. Good for treaking and cycling so so spacious. Easily can spend your time with your family and kids. So beautiful and green. Mini golf is available at the entrance. There is a small MAZE. We can see the city from the top...
