Update January 2024: The second visit was as good as the first time if not better. Chef Tomoko continually indulged us with her great skills and fresh materials. I enjoy Omakase because I see the food being prepared in front of my eyes, the expectations getting build up and fulfilled. The scallop was the highlight of the dinner in my view, the French gourmet butter melted in the fire and leaked into the gaps on the scallop meat, complimented the sweetness and umami of the scallop. The price increased a lot compared to last time but it is still worth it. First visit June 2022: Cheap and good Omakase. Not the best I had in Stockholm but definitely worth the price. The steamed egg pudding is the highlight, super silky and smooth in texture, with a perfect balanced flavor of koji and truffle. I went here with a good friend and I recommend sharing the experience with someone that has a love for good food. This will for sure enhance it for you even further.
The service is amazing, especially since you are seated by the bar where they are preparing the food in front of you. So you get to see it all and have the possibility to ask questions, or to just be amazed at what they do.
They are using very good ingredients and you can tell that they handle them with love and care.
You may find it a bit pricey but considering how the experience really is something special I think you should still give this a try.
