Heimwehfluh Bahn, Restaurant & Sommerrodelbahn — Attraction in Interlaken

We visited Heimwehfluh Bahn today and paid $50 CHF to ride up to the top and then take the toboggan down.

The ticket attendant was on the cellphone the entire time, and just took our money and handed us the ticket. Once we arrived at the top of the mountain another staff member informed us that the toboggan was closed, because the track was wet. She said that it was “ unsafe” to ride down the mountain.

While we were disappointed, we understood her concern for safety. We asked for a partial refund since we could not ride the toboggan, and she declined it. She said that the $50 CHF would cover our ride back down on the train.

It seems like they scammed us, as they knew the attraction was closed before they took our money. Everything there looked very sketchy and not maintained. We would not recommend this...

The only thing good is the scene from up! Otherwise ! The place is very outdated ! The small will tell you that it needs an upgrade and a lot of cleaning ! It was raining and nothing working there ! So we stayed at the Resturant to make our visit up worth it or at least we did something ! We had ice cream and coffee ! Don't had the any food ! For it's not fit to rate the food It was just a waste of time to go all the way up and the tickets lady didn't even bother herself to tell us that the roller coaster doesn't work ! And...

Wenn Sie kein Interesse an der Unversehrtheit Ihres Körpers und generell einen Hang zur Verletzung Ihrer unteren Extremitäten haben sind Sie hier goldrichtig. Die Gurtsysteme sind wohl am ehesten dem Begriff "dekoratives Beiwerk" zuzuordnen. Größen- oder Kilobeschränkungen werden ja generell überbewertet, das sind doch nur konstruierte Zahlen. Das Personal ist top geschult, man weiß nicht in welcher Kategorie, aber sie muss herausragend sein. Evtl. war es "Klatschen und Tanzen zum eigenen Rhythmus in ihrem Kopf". Die Wirksamkeit der Bremseinrichtungen der Bobs entspricht dem Äquivalent einer gut gefetteten Teflonpfanne und die Notbremseinrichtung am Ende der Bahn ist statt aus "billigem" Schaumstoff aus massivem Stahl. Das ist Qualität! Sicherheitskameras zur Überwachung der Strecke existieren zwar...sind aber nicht funktionsfähig; wozu auch wenn man anhand der schmerzerfüllten Schreie der Kundschaft erkennen kann wann die Fahrt zu Ende ist. Krankenkassen lieben diesen Trick! Der Kinderspielplatz versprüht nostalgisches Flair mit starker Tendenz zum Shabby chic. Kinder müssen hart werden gegen Verletzungen jeglicher Art und eine gültige Tetanus-Impfung sollte ja eigentlich Pflicht sein. Langeweile kommt vor allem bei Eltern nicht auf da man ständig auf dem Sprung sein muss um seine lieben Kleinen vor komplizierten Frakturen zu schützen. So sieht innovatives Intervalltraining aus! Die Preisgestaltung richtet sich anscheinend nach dem Würfelprinzip und dem Schlafrhythmus der Kassenkraft. Jetzt im Ernst für alle die die Sarkasmus nicht verstehen: Nicht hingehen! Macht Aua!
