Disappointing "Double Air Time" - Didn't Deliver & Company Refused PArtial Refund

I recently booked a paragliding experience with Swiss Paragliding, opting for their "Double Air Time" option. My expectation was for a significantly longer flight, but my experience was disappointing. The flight lasted only about 10 minutes, which appeared to be the same duration as standard flights. I clearly did not receive the extended air time implied by the "Double Air Time" option.

Upon contacting Swiss Paragliding, they stated that flights are measured by "take-off altitude, not flight time," and that "air time" is merely an "average value." I strongly disagree with their refusal to offer a refund. When a customer pays extra for "Double Air Time," the clear expectation is for more time in the air. To then claim it's solely about altitude feels misleading. Other guests who paid the standard price seemed to have the same flight duration, further solidifying my belief that the "Double Air Time" option provided no tangible additional benefit. Paragliding in Switzerland was something I was genuinely excited about, but the experience left me disappointed — not because of the flight itself, but because of how pricing and communication were handled.

There are two pricing tiers, but everyone in our van — regardless of what they paid — received the exact same experience. When I asked about this afterward, I received a polite email from the owner (which I appreciated), but my concerns were mostly brushed aside, and the consistent stories I heard from fellow passengers were dismissed.

One of the best experience in our trip to Switzerland. My wife wanted me to book this after seeing so many paragliders in the skies of Interlaken. We booked quickly the night before the flight and it was a very easy process. The day of the flight there was a lot of fog so we were able to contact Sam and he was able to place into a sunset flight at 1615. The whole experience was great, they explained everything to use on the drive to the flight location, and they were all very friendly. I flew with Sam and my wife flew with Richie, both of which were great as well as very experienced. They both made the flight very comfortable and talked to us throughout the whole thing which made the whole experience feel much calmer than we originally expected.
