Dishonest service and below-average food!!!
Food is disappointing - ramen noodles are overcooked, soup with MSG (which I got headache right after eating), soft-boiled egg but with completely cooked egg yolk, pork (叉燒) that had no taste at all.
But what is more disappointing is their dishonest service!
When the waitress helped me place order, she recommended me to add a soft-boiled egg to go with the ramen, I said ok. The waitress didn’t ask my friend when he ordered his ramen, but the waitress added the egg for him and charged him extra without saying a word.
I also ordered mochi, when I told the waitress in Chinese I said “一份燒麻糬” which means “mochi for 1” in English. Again the waitress secretly placed 1 more order of mochi for my friend without asking. The restaurant placed 2 pcs of mochi on 1 plate when they served, which is confusing as customers would think 1 order of mochi includes 2 pcs.
My friend and I only found out this dishonest service when we paid the bill. The total amount is different from the menu and we tried to figure out what caused extra and found out the waitress placed an extra order of soft-boiled egg and mochi without our consent! This is totally unacceptable.
I always love to travel Taiwan but this restaurant is shamefully...

Went in and ordered the signature seafood ramen and the beef ramen.
Seafood ramen: Soup was very thin, I've had cup noodles with richer soup than this. Prawns were abit mushy, pork and clams we're okay. Noodles were definitely not Japanese ramen noodles, seemed abit more Taiwanese instead. Overall very underwhelming and as someone who usually gets ramen for the rich tonkotsu broth, a tonkotsu cup noodle would have been a better choice.
Beef ramen: Similarly, soup was thin and not rich. Beef itself while soft, had a strange rubbery texture to it. The same type of noodles were used as the other bowl of ramen we had. Do not recommend this item as well, for the noodles, soup and meat were mediocre.
Not sure if this is really a copycat stall and where the original one is at, but if you're a traveller looking for a good bowl of ramen, there definitely will be better options than this especially for the slightly higher...
Read moreThe ramen had a very ordinary taste, and the portion size was ridiculously small, probably only about 1/3 to 1/2 of what you’d expect for the price – which was exorbitant.
The fried dishes were still on the pricey side, and the portions were truly meager, but at least they were delicious.
When placing our order, the staff was a bit pushy with upselling. For instance, the three of us ordered a plate of fried tofu, but the server insisted on serving it as individual small dishes. However, when we received the bill, we realized they had charged us for two plates. In reality, one plate with three pieces was just enough for each of us, and there was no need for an extra order.
They didn’t accept credit cards, only cash. During the checkout, the staff made a mistake in their calculations and overcharged us, but after we raised the issue, they corrected it. Initially, we thought it was just a careless error, but upon reading reviews later, it seems like this might not have been the first time for the establishment. So, be cautious and double-check your bill when...
