Africafe — Restaurant in Arusha

Not recommended at all, the cafe is not busy at all but services are super slow. No wonder is not packed. The one star l gave is for Cappuccino. Rest of service was zero, l ordered fish and chips the guy took the order then in 5mins he came back and say fish is still frozen can’t be be said..(then why is in the menu?😳) I choose another option still wasn’t available. I ended up ordering chicken Alfredo the sever said that comes with fries or rice, and l choose fries. After waiting almost an hour, a lady brought pasta 😳😂. I said ma’am this is wrong, not what l ordered. She return it.and after another 20min the first guy bring chicken and chips.. and say “sorry l don’t know if that option was saved with pasta, because it’s new menu..😳seriously I never heard that server tells customer they don’t know what is in the menu, because...

It's a nice place with wifi. Relaxing atmosphere but the waitress isnt friendly and doesnt have good customer service skills. They dont introduce themselves and ask how can they help serve you today. They dont smile . They don't make you feel comfortable. But I notice they smile big, bright and show all ther teeth when it's a caucasian. They are bubbly, smiling and to their attention constantly. Just my experience and what I've noticed. Sadly to say, I'm a CEO of my own and I wouldnt recommend this place. I waited over 30 mins to get my food because I waitress forgot my 3 additional sandwhich. I deserve the same treatment as any other race . Just sad I will be speaking with the owner or management of this...

First time I’m leaving a negative review. I wish I had the option to give 0 stars for this place and 0 for the service. Unfortunately I can’t post without it. Ordered 15 minutes before other table ordered. Their food came out in 20 minutes. Our food came in half an hour after theirs. We had ordered a bowl of soul, waffles and a sandwich. Waffles were raw, soup was unbearable. Don’t know how you can botch something as simple as cream of vegetable soup. Toddler was starved and disappointed. Would never come back or recommend this place to anyone. Not a single samahani from the staff even after asking them about the delayed food. And then the complaint about the raw waffles.
