Signature Safari — Local services in Arusha

An amazing 5-days safari experience! We booked a private safari for a good value (compared with the other offers I had received during my research), so as to accommodate our wishes. The itinerary was designed according to our preferences, including a bike tour at Mto Wa Mbu and a bush flight for our return to Arusha, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Our guide Apollo is very experienced and knows the parks as the back of his hand, after 20 years of experience. He is dedicated to offering the best experience to his guests. Our glamping locations and lodges were great with the Africa Safari Lake Manyara standing out as the best glamping experience we could have ever had! Lunch boxes were very fulfilling and enabling us to enjoy more game drive. One star is missing from my review for the communication problems we had. Although Innocent sent his detailed offer very quickly and was always reachable by WhatsApp, when changes needed to be applied at our itinerary the office had sent us 3 times a wrong file as well as wrong bush flight ticket, so I felt I needed to look after the details myself, rather than entrusting him with all the details. Everything worked out perfectly of course, Innocent would let nothing go wrong, but he caused me some anxiety over the planning of our trip (I do admit being a perfectionist, as a travel agent myself). Recently we completed an 8 day trek on Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho route with Signature Safari. Our team was 12 with 3 clients, 2 guides, a cook, waiter, and 5 porters. Our guides Michael and Rodman were fantastic! They helped us stay on top of our hydration, helped us stay on a “pole pole” pace, and were a strong source of motivation the entire trek —especially the last day up to the summit. A fire on the east face/base of Kilimanjaro almost cut our trip short by day 3, but thankfully it was controlled and we were able to continue. Our cook Josaphat was amazing— the food was consistently plentiful and quite tasty. We had hot coffee/tea 3x/day every day and even at Stella point! The porters on our trip were all very nice and super helpful with carrying the fuel, food, and dining tent up and down the mountain. We are thankful to the whole team for the incredible experience, especially our guides for there inspirational singing towards the summit and nimble fingers for assisting with zippers and backpack straps when ours were cold on the way to the top. Amazing and Beautiful - Signature We had no issues at all with our transfers and Mr. Malaki was waiting at the airport to guide us to our car which was clean and well maintained, they were also on time for our return to the airport. We booked the tour which meant we stayed in Tsavo West for 2 nights in different accommodation and 1 night in Tsavo East. Great thanks to Innocent the man behind this Safari organized and his Signature Safari team. Our driver guide Malaki picked us up at our hotel (We were lucky as the vehicle (Toyota Land Cruiser) we were in could carry 7 passengers but we were the only 2 on the tour so had so much space.)On our 1st day and gave us a rundown of the day’s activities and how long it would take to get to our starting point. It was quite a long drive but to see the people of Kenya go about their daily lives was part of the experience. We had a great time and Malaki was a great guide and very informative. In brief the tour in Kenya was wow!! Amazing and beautiful?! Highly recommend Signature...
