This will be my first proper review in a long time, as it would be unfair to skip reviewing this amazing hotel.

The experience with the staff is great from start to finish. 2 bell hops greeted us as we arrived smack in the middle of peak hour traffic and as we approached the check-in counter which had a short queue with only 2 counters open, additional staff members quickly opened up counters 3 and 4 to facilitate the process. I observed that the staff were polite despite having to serve a relatively unreasonable customer on the counter next to mine.

Upon completion of check-in, we headed up to our room to see that the staff had prepared a little welcome room setup for us. This was very appreciated as most hotels only do so for customers celebrating something. Less than 5min later, the bell hop arrived with our luggage. Talk about efficiency!

We quickly changed out and went to Let's Relax spa to make a couple of reservations arrangements for our stay here before heading back to the hotel to explore the facilities and also enquire the concierge on possible things to do around here - we were recommended to check out Bang Rak Bazaar which turned out to be better than we expected, since we hadn't even heard about it before when doing our research! Thankfully we managed to get on the final tuktuk out to Saphan Taksin which was right next to the night market.

The room we stayed in - Executive Room - was immaculate. We had a great view towards the river as well as Pathum Wan. It was spacious and a lot of thought had been put into the room design. Every drawer which contained an amenity - crockery, hairdryer, refills, etc, had elegant icons on them so you would already know what was inside the drawer without having to open every one to figure out. There are also ample spare power points (8 I counted in total) with USB-A and USB-C outlets already provided!

The beds were extremely comfortable and both my wife and I slept longer than intended due to this. The pillows they provided differed in size slightly, probably one for lying on and one for hugging like a bolster.

The toilet is befitting of the hotel's 5-star status. The toiletbowl is Japanese-style with bidet controls and seat warmer on a wall panel. The toilet fixtures are Grohe and the standing shower area features a hand shower, rain shower, and showerselect, it even includes a shower ledge. The vanity counter features the full range of toiletries expected. The mind-blowing star attraction of this toilet is the jacuzzi tub which features waterfall jet as well as the regular spray jet, and comes with coloured lighting for creating a nice ambience while soaking.

Additionally would like to mention that there is a vending machine and ice machine on every floor for your convenience without needing to head out to a 7-11 (nearest is 1 minute walk away)

The only downside I consider is that you would need to rely on their scheduled shuttle service as the nearest BTS are relatively far out, and there are not that much to do within walkable (10min or less) distance.

Overall I enjoyed my stay very much at this Grande Centre Point outlet and would most definitely consider this high on my list of hotels in central Bangkok. I look forward to...

Title: Disappointing experience at Grande Centre Point – Poor handling of complaints

Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆

Our stay at Grande Centre Point started off well. The hygiene was excellent, the facilities were beautiful, and we had an enjoyable time. However, all of this was completely overshadowed by how the hotel handled a simple complaint, leaving us feeling completely undervalued as guests.

During our stay, several clothing items went missing after using the laundry service: men’s underwear worth €350 and a shirt worth €200. What was returned to me was damaged and unwearable. The hotel claims that all items were returned and even says they have CCTV footage as proof. However, despite multiple requests, they refuse to share this footage. This lack of transparency makes their claims highly questionable and shows a complete unwillingness to take responsibility.

Additionally, the hotel stated that housekeeping follows a standard procedure where they check the top drawer. I could understand that as part of their cleaning routine, but what is completely unreasonable is that they took photos of the contents of the drawer without any consent. While they claim these photos were “for internal use,” they sent one to me as “evidence” – and what’s worse is that the photo is irrelevant to my complaint. It shows women’s underwear that doesn’t even belong to me, while my complaint was about men’s underwear and a shirt. I have pointed this out several times, yet they completely ignore this and continue to use the photo as supposed proof.

What makes this situation even worse is the hotel’s complete lack of effort to resolve the matter in a reasonable way. Instead of providing a solution, they respond defensively and avoid accountability. The fact that a five-star hotel would suggest legal action rather than professionally and amicably resolving a simple complaint is outright shameful.

The issue concerns a relatively small amount of €550 (19,213.20 THB), but it’s not just about the money – it’s about how poorly and disrespectfully the hotel has handled the situation. Why would I, as a guest, go through the trouble of fabricating a complaint like this? It’s clear that mistakes were made in their internal processes – from improper washing to damage and loss – but instead of addressing them, they choose to deny and deflect responsibility.

Conclusion: While Grande Centre Point may have excellent facilities and cleanliness, if anything goes wrong, you cannot expect any service or reasonable resolution. The hotel shows no accountability, lacks transparency, and treats its guests disrespectfully. I will never stay here again, and I strongly advise others to think carefully before booking. This is not a five-star experience – it’s amateurish and deeply...

New luxury hotel. Five star luxury standard ... in rooms and service. I will definately gave them 5 stars, as I love that most of the staffs I encountered are all service orirented. Pros :1) New and luxury hotel enviroment and spacious rooms. I got blown away by the design when I entered. 2) The room is so nice and comfomfortable that I wish I can just stay in my room whole day long. 3) Vending machine that sells tibits / drinks and even Ice Machine was provided. Inside the room ice bucket was even provided. Charging cables are even available in the room. I was way surprised. 4) On your first day of check in, was informed that all drinks /teas/snacks in the room are complimentary. One complimentary set per stay. Which is way better than other 5 star hotel that doesnt even provide so many complimentaries. Except for water. Was also informed that from day 2, only mineral water will be topped up which is reasonable enough. 5) Staffs I encountered are all very service orirented. I stayed in so many luxury hotels. Never did I encounter any conceriage staff will automacially take over my hands full of bags from shopping and bring it all the way to my room for me. Without me asking for anything. Its not even laggage. Its just few big bags of shopping items that I'm struggling with. I appreciate the service given. 6) Bang rak Grill restaurant on top of the restaurant. The restaurant waiters n managers are all very nice and polite. I bought in my own wine as they do not have the license to sell it. They are alright with it and provided wine service thats needed. Steak was good. Food was good in bang rak Grill. 7) Hua's restaurant at breakfast service ; Busy service , staffs might be slower in clearing tables when they are overwhelmed but service was still good. 8) Smoking area, Games area are available in hotel which is a plus point for those whom just want to rest in the hotel. 9) One of the best, the water temp in the bathroom is always constant. No more waiting or adjusting temp non stop during bath. No more water temp changes in the midst of bathing. Cons : 1) Breakfast was okay, but there is still room for improvement for day to day food variety and food standard. 2) Busy at Hua's restaurant on every breakfast service. Tho its a big space with lots of seating of up to approx 90-100pax ? But it fills up quite fast. 3) location is not so convenient, no nearby laundry nor bts. But its not far from Icon Siam / Terminal 21 Rama 3 which has lots of food options. There is a Seven 7-11 and a mini C , nearby a street down. 2-3 massage parlours down the street, charging 400baht per hr for foot masaage which is considered expansive for that kind of area. Nevertheless there is a better spa just outside the hotel lobby...

My mom and I stayed at this hotel for two nights (October 22–24, 2025). The hotel is quite new, the room was clean, and I liked the unique token system they offered — it was interesting. The rooftop pool was also great. However, there were several serious issues that made our stay very unpleasant, and I honestly would not recommend this hotel to anyone. 1. Noise Issue: We stayed on the 11th floor, and we could clearly hear the traffic noise (especially honking) from the street throughout the night. The next morning, I complained to the front desk and asked if we could move to a higher floor. The response I got was that we would have to pay extra to upgrade, as floors above the 11th are reserved for premium rooms. So if you’re considering booking a standard room (8th–11th floors), think twice. On top of that, the air conditioner in our room was also quite noisy. 2. Manner Issue 1: From the day we arrived until the day we checked out, no one ever offered to help us with our luggage, nor did we receive any kind of greeting — even though my mom is an elderly lady. What bothered me the most was that the two doormen in the lobby were very enthusiastic toward European-looking (white) guests, helping them with their luggage and greeting them warmly. We are Chinese, and we never even got a smile from them. I also noticed that some South Asian (Indian-looking) guests were ignored as well. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable. The only staff who made us feel genuinely welcomed were the cleaning staff — they always smiled and greeted us kindly whenever we passed by. 3. Manner Issue 2: While waiting for my taxi in the lobby, I finished my coffee and wanted to throw away the plastic cup. However, I couldn’t find a trash bin anywhere, so I asked the two doormen (who were chatting instead of working). One of them just said “Toilet!” in a rude tone — meaning I should throw it away in the restroom. I understand that they didn’t have to dispose of it for me, but their attitude was completely unacceptable. At the very least, they could have politely said, “You can throw it in the toilet, there’s a trash bin there.” Everyone deserves to be treated politely — basic manners should be the standard in hospitality. 4. Low-Quality Breakfast: The restaurant was quite small and felt crowded. The food quality was disappointing — for example, the watermelon wasn’t fresh, and the boiled egg was undercooked (it even splashed on my clothes). Overall, the breakfast was much worse than what we had at a cheaper hotel in Pattaya, which was a huge contrast.

I absolutely adored the exceptional service at this hotel, most notably from Miss Chatkamol Nerakanteekul, whom I affectionately came to know as Mei. Right from the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Learning that I was celebrating a birthday, Mei not only helped me plan the perfect celebrations but also made sure every day was filled with little surprises that kept me smiling. Her local knowledge was invaluable—she suggested several exclusive nightclubs and scenic dining spots that my friends and I would never have discovered on our own. Each recommendation offered not only great fun but also a sense of safety and comfort, which is so important when traveling. The hotel’s token system for massages was another highlight. Being able to treat myself to foot, head, and shoulder massages after a long day of exploring the city felt incredibly indulgent. Additionally, I was really impressed with the housekeeping services. The young cleaner assigned to my room demonstrated impeccable dedication. My room was always spotless, and I could tell genuine care went into keeping it tidy and welcoming. I made sure to express my gratitude with generous tips, as the service truly deserved recognition. Room service also exceeded my expectations. Every meal I ordered was not only delicious but also arrived promptly, which meant I could focus on relaxing in my room or preparing to go out. The security and front desk teams did a fantastic job escorting my guests—both friends and professionals—up to my room and ensuring everyone felt safe. Overall, the thoughtful gestures and personalized touches throughout my stay made a lasting impression. Between Mei’s extraordinary hospitality, the wonderfully executed token massage system, and the dedication of the entire staff, this hotel delivered an experience that I will cherish for a long time.

Between Mei’s extraordinary hospitality, the wonderfully executed token massage system, and the dedication of the entire staff, this hotel delivered an experience that I will cherish for a long time.
