Awful experience. My husband got Thai massage which was not up to the mark. I wasn’t keen on getting any massage or spa done since I just took one in the morning and wasn’t in the mood. Since ,it was too hot and humid outside, I decided to come back to this outlet and see options. The lady in the front desk just forces into getting things done and booked me up for facial. The person doing facial was so bad I couldn’t stand. She applied no pressure whatsoever even when asking multiple times, and wound up the session herself without saying anything. They put me in the room next to reception where I could hear all the chitter chatter of people and their own staff bickering about things. The place is mainly to serve the naughtiness it seems. If you want to get a proper traditional Thai massage go to a place like the one right in front of this outlet or anywhere they have a couple of elderly women, I’ve had the best experience in those kind of outlets. This is just a bunch of young ladies with no idea experience or interest. I unfortunately did visit them couple of months back and they were bad then too. I don’t know why we ended up here again.
Edit- after the response from the owner/manager of the chain. I hope you have checked with your branch manager for the cctv footage for confirming where the facial took place yesterday afternoon/evening, before responding to this. Did you check if the person was offered wet towel/ fresh towel like you usually do? Or was this a biased decision to not handle me and offer me services properly just because I left the outlet initially, or whatever you would have thought. The room I was taken in was right behind the reception and front of the pedicure/foot massage room you have behind glasses. I was not specifically asked what I liked in the session, and the only thing I was asked was why I’m not having my tea after the session. No inquiries on service Whatsoever. I gave a comparison on what a good service looks like by quoting the store in front of you. I have no problem if you go ahead and report this. I wrote what I experienced and it was not satisfactory. I have the highest respect for people in service industry but there are some rules to be followed and integrity to be maintained, which was missing from what I noticed. No hard feelings to any individual but yes, not satisfied at all...
Read moreI make it a point to visit Botanika Massage & Spa every time I come to Bangkok, and it has become almost a nightly ritual for me. This renowned establishment in the Silom district offers an unparalleled experience of relaxation and rejuvenation. The moment you step in, you are warmly greeted with a chilled drink and a refreshing cold towel, a welcome relief from the city's heat.
I opted for the 60-minute Thai massage, and the masseuse demonstrated exceptional skill and precision. Each movement was thoughtful and adapted to my body's needs, especially in addressing the tension in my back and legs. The attention to detail and the ability to adjust pressure accordingly made the massage deeply therapeutic.
Post-massage, I was treated to delightful herbal tea and snacks, adding a charming touch to the overall experience. The ambience of Botanika is meticulously designed to enhance relaxation, with soft lighting, serene background music, and the gentle sound of a fountain creating a tranquil atmosphere.
The spa’s impeccable cleanliness and the courteous staff further elevate the experience. The prices are quite reasonable considering the high standard of service and the luxurious setting, making it a great value for money.
In conclusion, Botanika Massage & Spa stands out for its professional massage techniques, friendly service, and serene environment. It’s a must-visit for anyone in Bangkok seeking a moment of relaxation. I highly recommend it to fellow travellers and anyone looking to unwind after a busy day...
Read moreFrequented this chain many times in the past. However today’s experience made me not want to visit this place ever again.
Had the absolute worst pedicure that I ever had in my life. The pedicurist was extremely fast and careless, clipping my nails to the point that it hurt, and frequently polishing my skin instead of my nails, with the nail polisher sliding here and there with her reckless movements. Few minutes in, I was just waiting for it to be over. The result was less than stellar.
Afterwards, my partner unfortunately ended up receiving a foot massage by the same woman. My partner frequently requested that she massage firmly and properly, but instead she was basically just patting my partners’ feet until the point that my partner could not take it anymore and had to go the the lobby and complain.
The two of us had both a foot massage and a Thai massage. My experience was not good either. The masseuse was massaging the wrong pressure points and not doing any adjustments based on the condition of my body, instead just basically massaging here and there in an impatient and uncoordinated manner. It was the worst Thai massage that I ever had to date.
Afterwards, regretted not leaving earlier. It felt like 3 hours waste of time. Just walked out feeling worse. I understand that the staff may be tired at the end of the day, but feel like the professionalism and consistency is not there. Unfortunately, will never...
