I visited this branch for lunch on 9 August, though I usually dine at the Central Eastville location, which is closer to home. Unfortunately, this visit was deeply disappointing. My husband discovered a cockroach in his rice which is an unacceptable incident for a restaurant of this reputation.

Initially, the staff offered no apology until I specifically asked if the manager was available. When the manager arrived, her explanation was that “the rice was perfectly clean earlier, so she presumed the cockroach had just run into it.” I found this response both implausible and troubling.

I asked how the restaurant intended to handle the situation, especially given the brand’s reputation and the impact on customer trust. Her only reply was a brief apology, with no further action or assurance.

We paid for our meal, packed what we could, and left to dine elsewhere. This experience has left me questioning the standards and accountability of the Four...

I was so excited to visit the Four Seasons in Bangkok as I’ve been to both the Bayswater and Chinatown restaurant in London.

The Bayswater restaurant had a magic duck recipes which made lots of people queue before opening.

Expecting the same recipe in Bangkok, I was hugely disappointed. Just standard duck, the same as MK diner.

When I tried to give feedback to the manager, she didn’t care and just responded ‘How can I help you?’

So rather than take my feedback and pass it to the chef / owner, she choose to just ignore it hence the 1 star review and a request to take my 10% service charge of the bill for overprice average duck.

For now, it’s MK...

Located on the 7th floor of a high end mall this Chinese dimsum is on the upper end of price point. Considering the location and atmosphere it is to be expected. The service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was good with a nice view right next to the window. The menu had English and photos of every dish. I ordered the half roast duck , two dim sum , rice and ice tea. The bill came out to about 1400 baht with the tax and service charges. The duck was cooked perfectly. The dimsum was good but the duck definitely was my favorite. Honestly this could have fed two people. Overall a good experience and would come back once in Bangkok again later this year.

I recently dined at Four Seasons in Emquartier and had a mixed experience. While the ambiance was pleasant, the food left much to be desired. I ordered the pineapple fried rice, which was surprisingly bland. Instead of the vibrant yellow I expected, it was an unappetizing orange and featured hard carrot cubes that didn’t add much to the dish. Unfortunately, this seemed to be a theme with the other plates as well—most of them felt like bland versions of their original recipes. Overall, Four Seasons has potential, but the food needs a serious upgrade to match the lovely setting. Would I return? Perhaps, but I’d be more cautious with my choices next time.
