My husband discovered a cockroach in his rice which is an unacceptable incident for a restaurant of this reputation.
Initially, the staff offered no apology until I specifically asked if the manager was available. When the manager arrived, her explanation was that “the rice was perfectly clean earlier, so she presumed the cockroach had just run into it.” I found this response both implausible and troubling.
I asked how the restaurant intended to handle the situation, especially given the brand’s reputation and the impact on customer trust. Her only reply was a brief apology, with no further action or assurance.

The Bayswater restaurant had a magic duck recipes which made lots of people queue before opening.
Expecting the same recipe in Bangkok, I was hugely disappointed. Just standard duck, the same as MK diner.
When I tried to give feedback to the manager, she didn’t care and just responded ‘How can I help you?’
So rather than take my feedback and pass it to the chef / owner, she choose to just ignore it hence the 1 star review and a request to take my 10% service charge of the bill for overprice average duck.
