Kaizen Coffee Ekamai — Restaurant in Khlong Tan Nuea Subdistrict

I feel I must share my experience here after reading some of the harsh reviews. My husband and I love our coffee and travel around looking for good coffee shops. This coffee shop in Thonglo is a little gem. Lovely staff who make really good cappuccinos. As good as any coffee shop we have tried in Bangkok (and we have sampled many). Price is perhaps a little higher than some places in Bangkok but reflects the area. A very popular cafe that will be moving close by to bigger premises very soon. I wish them well in their new venture and hope to visit their new cafe next visit to Bangkok.

We returned to the new coffee shop today - 5 months after our last visit. Delighted with this very modern coffee shop. Coffee was excellent as usual. We had a light lunch as well. My fig and avocado salad was outstanding - absolutely loved the freshness and quality. We travelled from Rachadaphisek via Metro and BTS and it was certainly worth the effort. Look forward to visiting again when we stay in Ekkamai...

Spacious but not a fancy type of cafe which makes it not crowded.

However I love the drink and the food. I order drink from Kaizen often but this is my first visit, so I try brunch.

300-400 THB for brunch on average 100-150 THB for the drink

But the portions are reasonable and they all taste good. I ordered two coconut matcha (yes, two because it’s so refreshing), brisket hash brown (brisket is tender and moist), and tiramisu (strong coffee flavor for a non-coffee drinker like me but I like it).

My friends got a toast which is also nice.

BEST COFFEE SHOP My boyfriend and I found this gem on our first trip to Thailand. We were so blown away. The coffee, the breakfast items, the workers, the atmosphere, it’s all so amazing! Their latte and their mocha were my go to. Hands down best almond milk latte of my life. And coming from Los Angeles where there is coffee shops on every corner I feel like that’s saying a lot!
