Big C Ekkamai is so much more than your average supermarket — it’s one of my favorite places to shop for both daily essentials and great food in Bangkok. In the supermarket section, I’m always impressed by the variety and freshness, especially the affordable seafood. One thing I really love is that you can ask the staff to steam or grill the seafood for you on the spot — it’s such a convenient touch. The selection is broad enough that you can do all your grocery and household shopping in one go, and there are frequent promotions that make it even better value. Beyond the supermarket, there’s a surprisingly large variety of shops and services. Safe and sound option. We...

At the initial Customs check door 10 of the International Airport, the officer asked for my receipt. I advised that the retailer did not give it back to me. I overheard his colleague telling him seems that Big C has been doing this.
While he endorsed my form, my VAT refund at the International Airport Revenue Department was rejected eventually as my form was not with my receipt.
I had emailed into Big C and the Revenue Department but have received no reply to date.
Hence, I think it's better to update a review here so that other tourists are aware, and avoid...
