I recently had the pleasure of dining at Grilled Town in Bangkok, and it was a delightful experience. The restaurant offers a diverse menu that showcases flavors from both Indian and Pakistani cuisines.
I started my meal with the chicken karahi, and I was immediately captivated by its aromatic and tantalizing spices. The chicken was tender and succulent, perfectly cooked in a rich tomato-based gravy that had a delightful balance of tanginess and heat. Each bite was a burst of flavor that left me craving more.
The naan served at Grilled Town was simply outstanding. It was freshly baked, soft, and had just the right amount of chewiness. It was the perfect accompaniment to the flavorful karahi, allowing me to savor every bit of the dish.
To end my meal on a sweet note, I couldn't resist trying the rasmalai. It was a heavenly dessert that surpassed my expectations. The soft cheese dumplings soaked in sweetened milk were incredibly indulgent, and the garnishing of nuts added a delightful crunch. It was a true celebration of sweetness and a perfect way to conclude the dining experience.
The ambiance at Grilled Town was inviting and comfortable, with attentive and friendly staff who were knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and authentic flavors shone through in every dish.
Overall, I highly recommend Grilled Town in Bangkok for a memorable culinary journey through Indian and Pakistani cuisine. Whether you're a fan of chicken karahi, naan, or delectable desserts like rasmalai, this restaurant is sure to leave your taste...

Read moreVery lucky find after original destination was closed for the night. I got Beef Brain Masala (asked for not spicy) and my friend got the Butter Chicken & a Blueberry mojito (not pictured). The brain masala absolutely blew me away. I’ve never had brain before, so had no idea what to expect, but now my world has been expanded. The butter chicken was yummy and creamy. Both dishes paired very well with the Zeera Rice. We were not expecting 1 order of rice to be as big as the main dishes, so we actually ordered 2 (2nd not pictured). While we both ate a lot of rice, we could’ve been fine with only 1 order. No worries tho - we just took the leftovers back to our hotel. We also tried 1 order of their vegetable samosas (not pictured). They were a bit smaller than I imagined, but they still tasted great with a little bit of spice. The service was fantastic and quick. When we left, we forgot to ask for our leftover food that they packed already. We were already walking down Surawong for a few minutes when we were stopped by a worker to give us our take home containers! I would absolutely come back if I’m craving this cuisine...
