Nice little barbeque restaurant.
Albeit a small enterprise, this lovely little restaurant serves the patron with excellent, fresh barbeque food. The centerpiece of this impeccably spotless restaurant is the open-flame barbeque, which gives the customer an opportunity to observe the preparation of one's dish.
The menu has ample of items to select from, and the surprisingly good selection of drinks are certainly making the difference. For example, the wines are quite palatable and refreshing.
Albeit the main street with all the vehicles and pedestrians are just some meters away, this restaurant provides surprisingly good sanctuary from the cacophony. As the restaurant is located in the alley, the thick walls provide insulation from the traffic, and the scorching sun is not directly shining upon the customer. These facts alone are making this place an excellent choice for anyone craving relaxing lunch.
Excellent place for hearty barbeque lunch with refreshing glass of quality drink with reasonable prices in the...
Read moreWas craving for some biber dolmasi (stuffed peppers) & found this gem of a place in Kaleici, old town of Antalya. Super delicious stuffed peppers, meze, lamb kebab, aubergine/lamb skewers & chicken shish. White wine was great. They had a live musician performing very soothing tunes just next to our table! Very friendly owners; think it’s a small family run restaurant tucked in a quiet corner of Kaleici, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist strip. The owners speak very little English but we got by looking at pictures on the menu and the lady boss trying her best to explain & showing us sample of the actual food/meze that she was going to serve us😅. As we weren’t sure of what meze to order, she recommended us some small plates that she likes and all her reco were awesome! Price was very reasonable too. Will definitely return to this restaurant if we come by...
Read moreEverything was great bar the bill. We were charged 10% extra on the bill for ‘meze’. Given all the other reviews we read before going here we anticipated a 10-20% tourist tax or as the owner says “card payment bank fee”. - the man’s brain literally glitched when we offered cash instead 😂
I’m only leaving a 1star to pass on the heads up 😊 the food and atmosphere really were great.
Make sure you first get the menu with prices and then before ordering anything clarify all extra fees and bank charges to prevent the inflated bill scam from exceeding that 10% buffer.
Like always when travelling this country, don’t greet, eat or drink anyone/anything in front of you without checking...
