DECK TOO — Restaurant in Dubai

We went to Deck Too restaurant to celebrate a birthday with friends. When we started ordering food and asked if the steak came with a side, the waiter said no, so we wanted to order sides separately. When we asked what sides were available, the waiter told us they didn’t have any—he repeated several times that no sides were available. However, when we asked again a few minutes later whether they had fries or mashed potatoes, he suddenly said they did. After a complicated conversation, we finally placed our order.

The food was okay, but not perfect—the steaks, which were supposed to be medium-rare, were closer to medium-well. We ordered extra sauce for the steaks but we have received small glass with the sauce that wasnt even visible in the glass. After the meal, we ordered several desserts. One of them was called "Vanilla Magnum," and the menu described it as a brownie in chocolate ganache, but what we received looked like a basic store-bought ice cream bar. We also ordered a strawberry sorbet, but the scoop we got clearly contained milk or cream.

To top it all off, we were charged for extra water that we didn’t order.

After a long 13-hour journey and settling into our hotel, our first mission was to find a great spot for dinner. Initially, we tried to dine at Ce La Vi but were turned away due to a dress code not mentioned on their website. Fortunately, we stumbled upon Deck Too, which welcomed us warmly despite arriving close to the kitchen’s closing time.

We were seated poolside with an incredible view of the Burj Khalifa, setting the perfect ambiance for our first night in Dubai. The service was prompt and friendly, and the menu was surprisingly affordable for the area. We savored delicious lamb chops, a shrimp Caesar salad, and a Wagyu burger. The drinks were delightful and perfectly crafted.

I had an amazing dining experience at DeckToo at Sky View Hotel in Dubai! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere with the stunning Burj Khalifa view added so much to the experience.
