Desert Safari Dubai — Attraction in Dubai

I recommend no one use this company.

We booked the tour through Viator.

The tour did not happen as per itinerary stated on the Viator website.

We booked a tour starting from the morning at roughly 7am. The driver messaged and said he was coming the next day but clarified he would come the right day.

We booked a morning safari and then a tour Hatta lake, lasting 6 hours in total. It said everything would be included in the cost except for lunch.

When the tour began, the driver did not communicate with us where we were going and just drove. We arrived at Hatta and he often just stood to the side smoking. We didn't have much context of what we were seeing. I asked when the morning safari would be and he stated it was in the afternoon, at 3pm. This to us was a shock. He said it only operated at night and included dinner and belly dancing. We did not book this at all as we didn't want to be out at night.

We chose a morning safari and this did not happen.

The tour guide did not engage with us much and often used his phone whilst he drove, making us two ladies uncomfortable.

He also said we needed to pay for extras (boating etc). Tickets to boat riding and camel riding etc are not included. He told me to contact the RAH Tourism when on the tour and they never replied to me about paying for kayaking.

It was a poorly operated tour. The driver isn't a guide. He showed us he only knew to take us to Hatta by the text on his phone from the supervisor at RAH tours. He appeared very tried and not engaged, slumping over the steering wheel. His English was very poor and he really only was a driver. If we had known it was only a driver we would not have booked this tour as we expected a tour guide to tell us history and information.

We subsequently didn't get to see the sand dunes we wanted to see in Dubai.

The tour company then didn't tell the truth to Viator about the tour and in the end we could only retrieve...

The gentleman Qadeer that picked us up from the hotel was nice. However he couldn’t understand us and we couldn’t understand him. No one ever reached out to confirm. So the night b4 the tour I reached out. Also… this is JUST a ride to the Mosque! The driver didn’t know what time they opened he didn’t know where we walk in at. He had ZERO knowledge on any information that we needed. The day of pickup he said he’d arrive at 9am and I advised I booked for 8am. He also said I had a full day tour and I advised him I only booked for a half day tour. This company is EXTREMELY unorganized!!!! Once we found out where to enter we gave ourselves a tour. When I contacted the driver to let him know we were finished he advised that we had to wait 30 minutes on a new driver. I said absolutely NOT! So he proceeded to drive us and he goes to the gas station. We were so confused.. He took us to another driver. A family got out and we got in. Very unprofessional company! Go with Vioator Tours. bad experience. I advise everyone not to use the services of this travel company. I wasted a meaningless day off. They do not proactively contact customers when the departure date arrives. I have to find and contact them. They bully customers when confirming pick-up locations over the phone. Pick up time is extremely long, up to 1 hour longer than announced. giving customers very short time when visiting. The mosque was very large and crowded on Sunday. If you cannot leave in time due to unexpected reasons, the staff's attitude will be very unpleasant. I can wait for them. Employees also speak ill of customers to others. Ferrari Park allows visitors to enter for 20 minutes and then leave, just walking around, no ticket. as a joke. Lunch is not included, visitors pay their own bill at the restaurant. Didn't go to all the attractions as advertised. They do service just for money, they want to get money quickly, they don't care about quality. In general I will never see...
